Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

No! I know I have had misgivings about Pope Francis, but I still prayed for his recovery, and redemption. With his passing, I now pray for God’s mercy. I will not condemn his soul. Only God can judge him now.
Corroboration (How I found out about it.)

the REAL fc.
Yes, I am celebrating tonight. The traitor to civilization is pushing daisies.
I totally agree that the late pope was detrimental to the Catholic faith. If You’ve followed my posts, you would acknowledge my disdain for Francis’ leadership. I can say that he was the worst pope in my lifetime.
What I will not do is condemn his soul to an eternity of hell. Only the creator of Heaven and earth… the Alpha and Omega, the Lord God can do that.
I will pray for God’s mercy, but the Lord must take into account the schism and confusion that the deceased pope has created among his followers, as well as the injurious suffering he has inflicted to the flock. I have read accounts of people leaving the Catholic Church because of the legacy of the now-deceased pope.
My heart is not filled with hate at this time. Only deep sorrow, and grief. not for the man, but for his eternal soul.
In nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti… Amen!
–the REAL fc.
It’s one thing not to slag the guy or wish ill of him at his passing, it’s another to claim he didn’t damage the Catholic Church. That’s delusional.
He was as bad for the Church as were the liberal reforms of Vatican II. An outright South American socialist, he was more concerned with global warming and Trump’s anti-illegal alien plans than the razing of the oldest Catholic Churches in the Middle East and the slaughter of Catholics in Africa.
I hope he made his peace and last contrition with God, but I’m glad he’s gone.
The Church needs to screw its head on straight and not dabble with another South American socialist Jesuit for the most important role in their Church.
mhb23re
I read all the comments. Yours was best. You summed up my thoughts exactly.
@mhb…
I’m afraid that the next pope could be even worse. Sort of like Carney replacing Trudeau.
–the REAL fc.
Vigano for the next one.
Vigano has been excommunicated. From what I understand, he isn’t even invited to the conclave to vote for the next pope.
From what I’ve been reading so far, the Church is in serious leadership trouble.
–the REAL fc.
The first pope admired by the left. Tells you everything you need to know. RIP nonetheless.
I respect your convictions. I am not a spiritual person. I am just glad this enemy of civilization is decomposing. F@#$ him with his ferula, dipped in California Reapers, sideways.
Thank you for letting us know that you’re not a spiritual person. You’ll be telling us you’re not an eggplant next. Some of us have eyes, you know.
The fires in Hell are burning bright.
I celebrate the death of any Globalist.
Francis was among the worst, selling out the devoted faithful to the Chinese Communist Party, promoting a one world government whislt pushing cultural Marxism and making devilish deals with Islam.
Pretty fitting he died on Easter .
Don’t let the coffin lid hit you on the way under Francine.
Pope Francis was a Marxist stooge …. He should have stuck with Papal duties not politics.
I am ambivalent about the Pope (and suspicious of men who stroll around in gold-laced robes telling people that being poor is fine and please send money) but I do note that those who campaign for the separation of church and state seem focused on Christians only.
Ouch. Nice subtle dig there on separation of church and state.
*
Man who lives in walled city with specially trained military contingent criticizes ‘Trump border policy.’
*
Perhaps this time the cardinals will elect someone who is a little more Catholic and a little less communist. Might be worth a try.
The separation of the church and communism? Think it’s possible?
https://static.independent.co.uk/s3fs-public/thumbnails/image/2015/07/09/22/sickle.jpg
That would probably require new cardinals, because if it’s the same group, you’ll get the same result, and the late pope has had many years to promote those who believed the same as him into positions to choose his successor.
Unfortunately, you are correct, JD. The pope has laced the College of Cardinals with like-minded thinkers. It may take decades to repair the damage… that is… if the damage can be repaired.
But whatever you think of the now former pope, please do not equate communism with the Catholic Church. The former leader may have been a communist, but the church, following the Lord, Jesus Christ, is anything but.
To clarify… When I refer to “the Church,” I’m not referring to the Vatican. As I’ve explained many times, “the Church” refers to the body of Christ. In other words, the people who attend Mass regularly.
–the REAL fc.
Hope so …
The world could use a less political and opinionated Pope with greater focus on the real job vs. telling countries what to do. Even we non-Catholics could use a few blessings in the coming years.
There’s little chance of that happening due to the simple fact that the only remaining stronghold of Catholics is in Latin America. And those Catholic Churches are mostly all Liberation Theological Catholics. I will go out on a limb and say the next Pope will double down on the Leftist cred. of this past Pope, what’s his name.
Outside of Brazil and Mexico the countries with the largest population of Catholics are the Philipines, the U.S., and sub-Saharan Africa.
And if you want to talk about how woke progressivism has destroyed Christianity, one need look no further than the mainline Protestant churches. The Roman Catholic Church still called a sin many things now accepted by other churches
This pope did and said some very controversial things, many things one could disagree with, but he was hardly the first or the last or the worst — and it should be noted that they were not ex cathedra and thus open to critique.
Were his socialist ramblings against capitalism – the only system to have lifted millions out of poverty – ex cathedra ?
If they were not, they were just more examples of him being used as a political stooge, and his socialist background could not allow him to see it.
If they were then clearly he was misusing his office for political and not spiritual affairs and these were more examples of why the Catholic Church lost many followers sorting his time as its supposed spiritual leader.
I read once, “Francis has pushed more people away from Catholicism than Martin Luther”, and that summed up his papacy one sentence.
People liked to say he hated capitalism, but he really didn’t do much more than push a bit harder on it within the confines of Pope Leo XII’s critique of it (which heavily critiqued socialism too by the way) in Rerum Novarum.
Francis spoke out most against corporate capitalism that only focuses on profits over providing a better environment for the average person to live in…so we could say he didn’t like Mark Carney types.
Now, I do think he was wrong or misguided about climate change — protecting the environment is good, climate change isn’t protecting the environment but…he was being advised by Jeffery Sachs, which some conservatives seem to love now that he spoke to Tucker Carlson, and I can’t understand why but here we are.
The Black Pope
George Floyd would have wanted it that way.
Pope D.E.I. … those are Roman Numerals, aren’t they?
Wonder if they smacked him in his head three times with the pope hammer?

My new band, Hammer of the Popes. I expect we’ll mostly work Orange Lodge events.
Rest in Peace Pope Francis
De mortuis nil nisi bonum dicendum est
That is all.
It’s better to be honest. I hope there’s another John Paul II out there because the World can use a good shot of divinely sourced inspiration. The progressive Pope was no help to his flock.
Amen
I’m not a fan of John Paul II, so obviously NO fan of Bergoglio. I have zero respect JPII over his treatment of Abp. Marcel Lefebvre. JPII was a snake and hid it well, IMHO.
Catholics need another Pius X. As close as we’re going to get to Pius X these days would be Cardinal Robert Sarah. Currently lots of buzz in the conservative and TLM Catholic circles about him.
What Catholicism in general needs is a complete rebuke of Vatican II “reforms” (lol) and a return to the TLM. I’m sure we’d lose a few to the local Protestant denominations, oh well, good riddance!
An admiral thought, but what would you do if there was nothing good to say? Stay silent?
–the REAL fc.
Silence sends a message all of its own…
Then if you wish, voice your criticisms — although hopefully this was also done before the man died. People seem to forget that the Pope, while powerful, is still just a man and capable of error (unless he is speaking ex cathedra, and that was never the case…so, something to be thankful for: thank our merciful Father that Pope Francis never made his more egregious statements from the chair! (and therefore we can use our free will and discernment to agree with him where we think he is right, disagree where we think he is wrong, and debate those who disagree with us).
For the record, meh, some things he said I could agree with, some very much no. We have had better popes in my opinion, but we have had worse popes and managed to survive them — every age thinks that they are living through the worst of the worst, and every age is engaging in the sin of pride when they do it.
No argument from me, Jane.
–the REAL fc.
Ah, perhaps I am too sensitive. When I heard he dies I knew there would be at least a week of the anti-Catholic usual.
Nihilominus loqui mentam tuam et non damnant aliquem cum laude fictus.
Not very seemly.
Associated (with terrorism) Press wrote the piece. Only it would praise a communist atheist.
88? The eighth letter of the alphabet – H. Double H = Heil Hitler! Ohhhhhhhhhhh mommmmaaaaaa … Hitler just died!
In a related story Mike Lindell is selling ‘My Pillows’ for $18.88 …
88 keys on a piano. Must mean something.
Vigano for the win
Vigano cannot be elected. Francis excommunicated him.
In other news, Schwab has resigned. He’s also 88 yo.
–the REAL fc.
There is deep symbolism in almost all media. Sports are scripted, rigged, and full of symbols.
That last Tyson fight was a performance all right.

There is a rumour going around that the next pope may be a Catholic. I know, far-fetched.

He was 88 … So is a piano …
… as was Dolly Parton … Double 44’s …
“She shoved a pair of 44’s in my back and then she pulled her gun…”
Yeah it’s an old saw but I couldn’t help myself
It’s high time we had a Protestant pope.
Transvestite Scot:
Pope Leslie I
A transgendered woman Pope? As we must … embrace … everyone. See, he’ll still be a man as required by the Church … but he will identify as Mary! What a dual Pope! Awesome! Right?
I saw that movie on Stremio and it was good until the ending. No spoilers but glad I didn’t pay to see it. I thought about throwing my popcorn at the screen and couldn’t justify cleaning up the mess it’d leave in my living room so that settled it.
He was no Catholic.
He called himself a “Liberation Theologist”,which is another name for communist.
His God was Karl Marx, and his savior was Friedrich Engels, and his Bible was Das Kapital.
And as history has proven over and over and over again, communism is the enemy of humanity.
// thank our merciful Father that Pope Francis never made his more egregious statements from the chair
and therefore we can use our free will and discernment //
This remark would sound bizarre to Protestants of the “individual interpretation” persuasion.
But it’s definitely a Catholic type of sentiment.
I recall some cleric announcing that “the Church” had recently determined that is was OK now to ‘believe’ in evolution.
Shades of the Young Trudeau asking permission to read books on the Index Expurgatorius.
Yes, it is part of the Church doctrine to accept the theory of evolution. Strangely enough, one of the few sects in Christianity to do so. But the church does not believe in the rapture.
–the REAL fc.
The thought behind that is that there is no second Second Coming, all will be judged, and to think that somehow you’re going to get out of that is to risk, once again, the sin of pride (aka. ‘the Father of all sins’ according to the Church). It could lead one to some very bad things.
Catholics, by and large, believe in a rapture sort of event but no pre-tribulation get out of jail free card. To be very fair, I don’t think all Protestants ascribe to that one, at least I hope not.
As for evolution, the best argument I have heard is that we are dealing with almighty God who can do what He pleases with regards to how He created His creation, and we are only attempting to understand it; the theory of evolution doesn’t change that truth, and once again believing that a human theory has all the answers is to risk the sin of, yep, pride once again. It can lead to some very bad things..like Social Darwinism (by the way, Darwin had some issues with that).
As I recall (fair warning, I have the memory of a goldfish), Jesus told John in the course of Revelation that when the end times arrived, there would be a nice round number of Jews from all twelve tribes still alive and actively honouring the Lord, effectively that there would be a surviving recognizable Jewish nation. And these righteous Jews would be spared the tribulations that would afflict the rest of us. This got worked up in the late 19th century into a spurious doctrine of Rapture. It’s not mainstream even in Protestant circles and it’s totally outside Catholic doctrine.
And as to evolution, God is present in creation and we are therefore obliged to learn and respect the truth of creation as best we can assess it. If God is plainly doing things in a certain way, it’s not for us to object, only to understand.
And I can certainly understand Darwin’s objections to Social Darwinism. Why, the poor fellow must have wanted some time to himself. It seems “Darwinism, But Leave The Poor Bugger Alone” was too bulky a tag for some people.
“You may not have heard of him, but make no mistake – Pepe Orsini is the puppet master behind the curtains of global affairs. He is the chief orchestrator of the Rothschilds, the mastermind behind the Rockefellers, and the puppeteer pulling the strings within the hallowed halls of the Vatican.
But his influence extends far beyond these prestigious institutions; Pepe Orsini is the undisputed head of the complete black nobility, the shadowy figures who lurk in the darkness, manipulating the course of history to suit their own insatiable desires.”

There are several ‘popes’. The public one was probably answering to the others.
MMBB…
Just where do you find these web sites?
If I were you, I’d look for some corroboration. Anything that sounds incredible demands verification.
Your source used this site for this bombshell.
https://amg-news.com/breaking-pope-francis-dies-24-hours-after-meeting-jd-vance-the-system-is-shaking-video/
Really now…
This site suggests something purely coincidental, such as Vance meeting with the pope the day before he died, as some kind of signal.
I don’t believe in coincidences, but sometimes, a coincidence is just that… a coincidence.
–the REAL fc.
Oh, you knew that one was coming.
Nothing of consequence happens by accident. Please have a look at the video I shared in the Reader Tips thread.
