Kory The Red Tory

After this outburst, why anyone would term Doug Ford a conservative is beyond me. Did he make a deal with Carney and is doubling down now that the Liberals’ lead seems to be evaporating? What’s notable is that while Ford and Teneycke are happy to sling mud at Poilievre, their prescription would make Trump the only substantive issue in the campaign while the Liberals’ record is conveniently ignored.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford fired off another salvo in the on-again, off-again battle between his provincial Progressive Conservatives and Pierre Poilievre’s Conservative party, saying his own campaign manager would have avoided the federal party’s current election woes.

  1. Ford wants Pierre’s job. Nothing more to it. If Pierre loses 3F will try to run for the leadership of Conservative party.
Will 3F try to run for Librano leadership if Pierre wins?

        1. Thanks for reminding me of that movie. Totally forgot Alec Baldwin is in it!

Gonna guess The Premier Curse just slipped Doug’s mind.

          1. Have you considered a career as an extra? As Alec likes to say “you miss every shot you do not take”.

          2. Actually, “C”, that quote was attributed to the great one, and went something along the lines of “You miss 100% of the shots you do not take.”

    1. Your incredibly burlesque Ontario MP wants something more a bit existential — to save his fat hide. He has a nice little racket in Ontario and perhaps he feels as though the walls are closing in on it.
Don’t worry, if Pollievre wins, I’m sure he’ll be one of the first to kiss and make up. The comedy will be choice. Then again, if Carney wins there will also be comedic thrills.

Watching him is the most amusing thing going on up there right now. You really should be sending him down more often; he’s been superb entertainment!

  2. The sad thing is, Carney is absolutely going to win this election because people are too stupid to think long term. I hope I’m wrong but its not looking good.

    1. I would just have said ” because people are too stupid”. You do not have to think long term to realize that Carney plans to implement The WEF Agenda will damage the country very quickly — censorship, NetZero, failure to build pipelines. A very short time under Carney and our democracy and our economy will be destroyed. Sovereignty also will be up for grabs. Canadians are too stupid to save their own country.

        1. Back and forth on Abacus.
Angus, Ipsos and Ekos are garbage anything I have seen about their sampling design suggests that they are purposefully cooking the trend.
Liaison is utter garbage on Chicom payroll.
Mainstreet just showed Cons in the lead but it may well be one time blip.
          Nanos is plain weird.
Leger and Innovative Research, who I mostly like, do not poll often enough to see a dynamic.
          Nothing is over.

          1. You’re so absurdly lazy that you post a table that for the most confirms what I said. Not that anyone should use this level of aggregation as an indicator of anything. You show the reasoning ability of Wikipedia monkeys when they banned Kolokowski (or some such) from their table.

“If a pollster never publishes any numbers that surprises you, then it has no value,” ~ Nate Silver

          2. So you’re changing the topic?
Projections based on the same polls. It is isn’t the first time you claimed victory and you side lost. I am not betting either way at the moment.

    2. Things are actually looking a bit better. Some polls are putting PP in the lead, but the aggregate, compromised by some fake polls, still has the liebs ahead, but losing ground.

Oh, btw, UnReal. The 338Canada poll is the aggregate that I was eluding to.

  3. Ontario ANYTHING is reason to disconnect, avoid, or ignore…….without raping on the WEST since confederation, the province is toast. They take from west, resources, grain, money, etc…….and build their economy on backs of others.
FRANKLY, Ontario manufacturing does not exist without US markets, and West Canada (equalization etal) dollars and resources.
Pardon me if I fail to shed a tear, for complacency, arrogance, and lord above all attitude. Not a Trump Fan, but have to say, I support the upset of Status Quo and East Canadian Entitlement crowd.
Opportunist, at best, frankly an IDIOT, but in Ontario……….that is who get elected………far better than the Orange and Dipper crowd, BUT, Ontario URBAN VOTERS….want their free stuff…….
You get what you vote for….all one can say, until grass roots gets involved, and CITYOTTS, get it, or become educated to free lunch/others pay falicy…….nothing changes.

  4. Sorry to point this out, but Thug Fraud is neither a conservative, nor a Conservative.

He is the leader of the Province of Ontario Progressive Conservative Party.

And the difference between him and Rob can be summed up in what Frank Zappa said:

“Stupidity has a certain charm. Ignorance does not.”

  5. The same people who vote for Ford provincially vote Liberal federally. Ford is a de facto librano. He was excited when Carnival announced he would run and then did everything he could to make sure he won.

He shackled his MPP’s. Forbid them from participating in the CPC campaign. Caroline Mulroney broke rank and introduced PP at an event but Ford is probably scared of her.

Ford is part of the problem – a shallow thinker not a big picture guy.

  6. Doug and his manager are effing jerk-offs. Country is a joke. F off.
Sorry, not sorry for the blunt profanity.

  7. The recycled news is getting a bit tiresome. Ford is, was and always will be part of the Uniparty. He has a small c beside his name, Carney has the small L beside his.

    1. Actually, as I pointed out, Thug Fraud can fall back to the fact that he is, indeed, a Progressive Conservative.

No need for a small c, he actually thinks he’s in the middle politically.

    2. I always use a capital L for the Liberal Party – it is a proper noun denoting a name not a philosophy. I use a small l for when I mean liberalism. The two have no connection except history. Google liberal – “Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on the rights of the individual, liberty, consent of the governed, political equality, the right to private property, and equality before the law.” none of which has a place in the modern Liberal movement. Let’s start a petition to change the Liberal Party of Canada to the neoFascist Party of Canada. Up to the members of the Conservative Party of Ontario if they want to be known as the Wannabe Liberal Party of Ontario
Hmm, another thought – can the LPC be sued for false advertising?

  8. I have voted conservative at all levels since I was 18. I am 67. I have a great job as an Engineer and although I work for the private sector I know I’ll be employed for as long as I want to work. I have lots of savings when I decide to pull the pin. So if Carney wins I will not suffer. That all said, a plague on the idiots who are still voting Liberal. They are total idiots. At this rate Canada will be a fourth rate shit hole a few years after I shake off this mortal coil. So long and thanks for all the fish.

  9. I mean, he’s right that Poilievre’s campaign sucks. It’s Barney Fife-tier bad. He was never that strong a candidate and was sowing the seeds of his ruin all the way back when he played footsy with the Conoyers and Musk. Should’ve treated those like radioactive cryptids.

Where Ford (of course) over-extends is:

    1) Claiming all would be well with a campaign manager change. Sorry no, Pierre made mistakes and is flawed and Atchinson was better in all ways. Also the CPC is just…a bad organization.

    2) Even worse, the guy Ford is pumping for is Teneycke aka the idiot who ran Harper’s “campaign” in 2015 which is the worst I’ve ever seen and I hope to God it remains so.

TL;DR: there’s no such thing as a ‘real’ conservative, cry more, RIP BOZO

    1. You seem to be confused, UnReal.
In the same post, you said that the guy who ran the worst possible campaign for Harper is right about PP’s campaign.

How can Teneycke be “the sharpest campaign manager in the country,” but who ran such a brutal campaign for Harper, qualify as an expert on PP’s campaign?

      Nothing about this adds up.

    1. Uh…he’s won a third majority term, a feat that Ontario hasn’t had for many decades. He’s *extremely* relevant, unfortunately.

      1. Er, yes. A majority against two new leaders, both entirely unlikeable and fortunately for him, worse than he is.

And he had to call an early election to do it. Its like bragging that you scored 10 goals in a road hockey game and demanding to be in the Hockey Hall of Fame.

But, yes, being the best of three bad choices makes him relevant. Ontario’s common sense Tory party left with Mike Harris.

        1. You’re grasping straws. The fact is he did it, and I don’t like it.

Harris is overrated. We are in this mess in no small part because Harris didn’t get the job done because he couldn’t conceive of what it even is.

          1. You must have missed the antifa riots at Queen’s Park then…

And yes, Harris didn’t go far enough and unfortunately lapsed into a Typical Tory. But I’ll take what I can get under our ridiculous “first past the post” system than allows for wastes of skin like Ford and Trudeau near power.

Lets not forget that Justin ran on the promise that he’d be the ‘last Prime Minister elected this way’.

      2. The voting options are so great in Ontario that less than 50% of eligible voters bother the cast a ballot (in 2022 and 2025). Basically Ford draws 40% of the 45% who plug their noses and cast a ballot (18% of eligible voters gave Ford a vote; 27% of eligible voters pick someone else; 55% said none-of-the-above).

Also, Ontario does electronic vote counting so not sure any of the numbers can be believed.

    2. Kory has always been a slimey opportunist. So many past political allies have stab wounds in their backs to prove it. This goes all the way back to the mid-90’s when he jumped from federal PC staff to Reform staff when he needed work. Turns around and sabotages the best local Ontario Reform campaign in 97 while on staff for Reform. He has done this repeatedly since 2015. Always been a Red Tory. Even though I introduced my young son to him during the 2015 campaign (they have something in common), I have never trusted him as far as I could throw him. This move is clearly coordinated with Ford. PP’s real problem is that he has made all WEF sycophants persona non grata in a future Conservative government. That means the Ford/Kory tribe will be on the outside looking in for staff positions. Trust me this is a CPC coup orchestrated by WEF. Kory has always been the word that starts with ratf. He smells blood money.

      1. ” Turns around and sabotages the best local Ontario Reform campaign in 97 while on staff for Reform.”

LOL pretty sure his efforts were superfluous, Reform had self-sabotage totally covered….and ‘WEF-coup babble’ is exactly in that line of sabotage.

  10. Little Dougie promised to cut off electricity, elbows up, blah blah, Alberta should cut oil etc. Keep fellating Carney and China. Let’s see how much Ontarians like paying for Quebec and Eastern Canada when Alberta/Saskatchewan ditch this clapped out third world ghetto.

  11. Blubber Dougie lost my vote after term 1. AND teneyke, as I recall was one of those lackluster Harper aids who happily snoozed through a majority government only to turn it all over to the most unqualified Liberal candidate ever in 2015.

    1. I never anticipated that the ‘walking away’ I’ve been doing for a decade (charities that got political, stores that went woke, etc.) would extend to the Ontario Tories, but it was fun to tell them to go pound sand after Thug Fraud effed things up during COVID.

No money, no election sign, no vote. Not for him, or anyone in his spineless cabinet.

Could be a long decade, but I’ll take my chances. I mean after Peterson and Rae, we got Harris.

      1. I kind of laughed when I got a robo-text from the Ontario PC party asking if I would support Thug Fraud (Can I borrow that?) during the last election campaign.
I’m still using my mobile phone that I bought while I was still in Ottawa, and kept my 613 phone number.

        –the REAL fc.

    2. “Blubber Dougie lost my vote after term 1.”

Same here. The assault on Freedom Convoy after he ordered his thugs to take a knee to Burn Loot Murder was the final straw.

  12. I can’t say for certain whether Poilievre is winning or losing, however I can almost guarantee he would be winning if he was facing Ford’s opponent Bonnie Crombie.

  13. Pierre’s problem is that he has to fight against Libranos who abused every rule and prorogued the parliament when they were losing in the pools.
    Against sabotage by Ford.
    Against sabotage by Trump.
    Against sabotage by Maxipads.
And he needs to fight for the votes of lobotomized electorate with TDS and an attention span of a retarded amoeba.

  14. I’d like to see a wrasslin cage-match between blubber dougge and pee-pee. Loser gets stuffed into a yellow weasel suit. Ron MacLean can referee.

  15. The idiot progressives who caused it are blaming the conservative/libertarian for causing it.
Precisely backward “thinking.” Is that you Singh?
Anywhere the Carny Carney shine is wearing off because big bad orange man put everyone out on tariff bail.

Add to that the “Housing Canada” white elephant promise to break, of course in true progressive Liberal fashion, reinventing the wheel, this time housing, like pharmacare, dental care and daycare, with likely a year just to get it up and running at a cost of at least a $billion, doing what Liberals are best at, spending vast sums building or buying nothing, so the millennials et al can eke your final days of shared misery in public housing, which will be a great success, like so many previous projects that, if they were built at all, turned into slums, now crates not rowhouses.

Meanwhile, healthcare continues, like our productivity, to decline, as China hawks for cashing in Carney.
