Blacklock’s- Will Censor Web “Pollution”
Liberals if re-elected will make a third attempt at regulating the internet, Prime Minister Mark Carney suggested last evening. Carney made the remark after being heckled at a rally in Hamilton, Ont. “We don’t need the online hate from the United States,” said Carney. Hecklers had questioned if the Prime Minister was acquainted with New York financier Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender who died in police custody in 2019.
“Come on,” said Carney. “Come on.” The Prime Minister paused briefly. “There are many serious issues that we’re dealing with,” he said.

The sheep need to be shepherded, no shock there. They will accept and even be grateful with not so much as a bleat, as mommy government clamps down ever harder, content that mommy knows best even as they starve. Living here makes me want to puke.
I’ve been dry vomiting for years. 🙂
I’m down to black bile at this point.
Ya miss every shot not taken.
Keep it up, 16 more days to judgement.
My first act as PM?
Highest Order of Canada for The Donald….
Donald Cherry.
That topic being specifically addressed doesn’t bode well for Canada. Once again, Carney is lining up with the European Union. He’s done that with carbon regulation. Now he’s doing it with speech. It’s not an issue that wins votes, so why is he doing it now?
He’s either incredibly stupid (as are his advisors), or that message about taking away free speech wasn’t for voters. It was for the EU.
In Canada it wins votes , maybe a little less so today
But it wins.
Joseph put it well below.
But left out what happens if after every election not much changes to weaken the mesmerized side.
Here the elites have a home most Canadians want to be one.
I’m not sure I buy that. Your “conservative” leaders need to be more than appearing to “go through the motions.” They have to start showing passion and personality. I’ll give you an example. What single press appearance by Pierre Poilievre is most memorable (not only to Canadians, but to the US)? It’s the one where he’s coming across, almost, condescending to the media representative (eating a nice crisp apple in her face while dismantling her talking points). That made an impression. It gave him a personality. His nonchalance gave the viewer the impression “of course, he’s right”.
On this very issue, “free speech” your conservative “leaders” need to attack Carney’s willingness to censor speech. That authoritarian wish list should become a hard hitting campaign commercial. They need to be in the public eye giving examples of how this will control the regular Canadian’s ability to communicate, criticize, evaluate. BUT, nary a peep from anyone on the right. The US may have a Uniparty problem. But, Canada seems to have leftists inside the house partying, while the right stares through window longingly.
” ….your conservative “leaders” need to attack Carney’s willingness to censor speech.”
True. But that isn’t going to happen. Because these are the same Conservatives who supported all of turdo’s liberty-crushing actions during the 22 months of the Wuhan flu bullshit. Sheep, led by a chicken.
Just think we could get the real Orcs, the ones that can reach out and actually touch you.
History is something else when it can actually bite your a–.
And Trump just gave it a wee little push…….. We were teetering anyway.Pierre better be something else because this is our last election one way or the other.
That’s the thing about numbers, and percentages, they pale in comparison with what’s going to wind up coming true.
“Pierre better be something else because this is our last election one way or the other.“
No truer words said. The US was at its last election as well but thankfully things turned around for them. If Trump hadn’t have won then what happened in our election was inconsequential but he won, and this could be our last. Vote accordingly.
My God, it’s right out of Goebbel’s playbook. Even the so called journalists in the MSM should be concerned.
Douglas Murray pretty much hit the nail on the head regarding the Canadian media during a Munk Debate. The vast majority haven’t functioned as opposition to (Liberal government) authority for decades. Here’s a short, humorous clip of his speech at the debate. They sold their professional integrity for money long ago. There’s only a few remaining in Canada that aren’t Liberal government assets.

Who is the first up against the wall when Canada’s Dear Leader starts the revolution?
You can bet everyone one this board.
The first will be, and have always been, the agitators, the complainers, the violent and petty girly-men, those who destabilize and terrorize society, for the aims of the new overlords. Those people served their purpose and their purpose is no longer needed and a liability. They go first.
Useful people get to live, until their use is used up.
Mountains of skulls don’t make themselves.
Suggesting that the ” pollution” is coming from the US — that’s a vote getter in Canada. I guess he does not know about Pornhub in Montreal.Someone needs to press him on this issue, as we are talking about censorship. People need to know what is planned. Carney — not to be trusted
Absolutely, Linda. This was a question asked by a Canadian of a Canadian politician in a Canadian city.
By deflecting it as “United States” style hate speech, Carney only shows that he cannot run on what he is for, only on stoking fear re. what he is against.
Every time he is heckled, the mob starts chanting “Car-ney, Car-ney, Carney…” to drown out the questions that could be answered very plainly, if he was innocent.
In my mind, all I hear is “Four legs good, two legs better…”
PornHub, and it’s various tentacles can replace one of the Canadian Oil Companies in the “Pantheon of Canadian Champions!” that get lots of government support and protection.
Since 1776 there has been a war for the hearts and minds of North Americans.
One side is championing rugged individualism the other dependence on the state. This election is just another battle in that war.
Canada was created to preserve the later because the established order could not fathom how the lesser beings could govern themselves without inviting anarchy.
They keep enough of the mob mesmerized convincing them the other side is going to leave them starving in the cold.
The other side is trying to convince the mob they don’t need the establishment to do something they are capable of doing themselves.
Neither side is championing any kind of individualism at this point. Carney wants information police, Trump wants to deport people for having opinions he doesn’t like.
Try again. Trump wants to deport criminals who are illegally in the United States.
Literally nabbing people off the street without charge for activism.

Let’s see, buddy is in a nation, as a guest, then agitates for the overthrow of said nation. Yet, to UnMe, that’s a cool objective and shouldn’t be foiled. He has rights! Except he doesn’t.
Activism? Go back to “safe and effective.”
This should be very unsettling to the average Canadian but something tells me it is not . God help us if that globalist criminal gets elected .

Censorship is as serious an issue as any… and gov’t should play no role in it.
The bought and paid for media are whispering in the governments ear.. We need censorship so we can get our old jobs back..
Carney is a classic fascist. Read his book and you will find out.
Again – and not advocating – here comes the graffiti you fascist prick.
Putting control freaks like Carbon in charge will become problematic when the under 40 crowd say WTF!?
It’s almost like the Charter of Permissions isn’t worth the paper it was written on.
It’s a photocopy anyway.
Starlink anyone?
