  1. When the Yale professor’s kids need healthcare and can’t get it, what then? He’ll have them back in the facist dictatorship straight away.

  2. The more Ivy League professors that decamp for Canada, the better. Let them enjoy liberal Canadian freedoms and the pleasures of the heavy horse brigade.

    1. “I am very happy at Yale, with the department and the university, but I want to raise my kids in a country that is not tilting toward a fascist dictatorship.”

He hasn’t been paying attention. Canada most definitely is a country that is tilting toward a fascist dictatorship if the Liberals get re-elected.

      1. The Yale Professor may not realize or acknowledge it yet … but HE is a fascist dictator. He’s simply moving to a nation where that is celebrated and implemented. Seems like Canada will be a “good fit” for him.

    1. Just gotta pick that scab, doncha…

The bastards’ salaries need to be indexed directly against debt & deficit. No debt/deficit? They get a small raise. Negative numbers? They get a large cut.

      1. Public sector raises indexed against private sector raises. And yes, for every 1% of gdp deficit, 10% deduction in salary. Just to remind the clowns there is a fiduciary duty to the public.

  3. On the subject of tree planting, we plant millions of trees every year in the forest industry. Its not that hard. Just another scam on top of all the others.

    1. If you planted one tree every second non stop, it would take about 64 years to plant two billion trees.

      1. BC did 305 million in 2023, but expected it to drop in 2024 because of “climate change and wild fires”

Trudeau was just trying to take credit for what’s already happening.

    2. yeppir, really not that much of a problem. i spent some time in the BCFS back when it was still called the BCFS and did some planting checks on the contractors. can still remember the old planters adage which went:
      Screefe one,
      Bury two,
      forest service
      fuk you
and lots of them seedlings were just buried. imagine that.

      1. I doubt that. I was involved with the forest industry, the BCFS and tree planting. I heard about burying seedlings but never encountered it. Might have happened once or twice but the penalties would quickly deter that kind of behaviour.

    3. Well somewhere, a crooked politician, a corrupt bureaucrat and a crony capitalist are getting extremely wealthy off of us taxpayers.

  4. The part I like best about Carney the feminist is how he went “elbows up” against Freeland.

PS: I promise that’s the last time I’ll use that phrase.

  5. Re: the Dokktor Fauxci meme … but, but, but … he was saving our lives! Dokktor Science Fauxci was … keeping us safe.

I guess Elon needs to use the words … “safe, save, and savior”?
