   Yeah, everything on television is formulaic. Nothing amplifies it quite like late night TV with the likes of John Oliver…Kimmell and whoever else is on. Like he says…once you hear it, you can’t unhear it.

   1. Make a pithy observation or an argumentation of your version of the “facts” preferably at the expense of a Republican.
   2. Follow it up with a snarky quip alongside a non – sequitor or a totally absurd metaphor.
   3. Pause and wait, but never interrupt the derisive laughter from the audience which will validate you as an observational comedic genius. Forgetting of course the host has in his employ a whole stable of writers whose very existence depends on making the host happy for one night. One or two flops and you’ll be kicking rocks.
   Repeat.

9. Geeze Kate … this DOES connect so many dots. Before this story hit, I researched WHO started Signal, and it is a couple of hardcore leftist Slicon Valley/Palo Alto Gen. Z’ers or some Gen.? My radar is pinging HARD on this entire Signal embedment in our government. Yes, I know I have become a raging conspiracy nut … but this has all the earmarks of a hack … not a rogue staffer, and certainly not a “mistake” by Waltz.
