Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

just a plane. DEI burnt down Los Angeles
“The captain has worked for Endeavor Air since October 2007. accumulated about 3570 hours total flight time, including 764 hours on the aircraft type.
The first officer has worked for Endeavor Air since January 2024. 1422.3 hours total flight time, including 418.7 hours on the aircraft type. The first officer was on day 5 of a 5-day work cycle. ”
The Captain was well rested, but left the co-pilot who was on day 5 in charge of the aircraft for a difficult landing, and neither one of them reacted when they lost control of the aircraft.

Not fair to blame it on DEI or the gender of the flight crew. Regional airlines for years have had to depend on relatively inexperienced pilots to meet their staffing needs. Had the pilot and copilot both been males they could easily have made the same mistakes.
The aircraft doesn’t know the gender of the pilots.
But it does recognize incompetence.
I found the comments … from licensed pilots … to be MOST informative. Yeah … it appears to be a rather common set of conditions that the crew utterly FAILED to deal with.
Me? I couldn’t care less if it were due to DEI, exhaustion, inattentiveness, or just simple negligence. I expect PERFECTION from my airliner pilots. That’s all. Perfection. Why? Because there is no room for anything else. Why? Because we are all putting our lives in their hands.

The interview that Tucker did with the 57 year old female captain/pilot was a real eye-opener, for sure. The airline industry seemed to be just begging for stuff like this to happen….the bit about not turning off the autopilot until 50 feet above the runway was concerning.
The aircraft collided with the terrain. So no humans were involved …
Simple coordination/synapse test;
Q: does the applicant throw (or drive) like a girl?
A: No = pilot license candidate
A: Yes = government worker candidate
