People should be allowed to buy it and have it delivered like any other fuel, like propane or heating oil.
So right now everything is dominated by Trump tariffs ,the existential threat worse than the “covid” crisis. Meanwhile the shares of energy companies in Canada are taking a beating. Of course it is all the tariffs. In 2011 Baytex energy shares reached $56.00 . Today they are$2.80. It may not be the best example ,as many factors influence the value of shares. However , it is symbolic of what has happened in this industry in Canada. Frogs in a boiling pot with made in Canada problems.

States in the Pacific Northwest blocking the construction of a coal export terminal was always 1) illegal, and 2) anti-environment. Several very large cities in China prefer/mandate the use of the cleanest possible coal (Wyoming) to reduce the generation of the visual contaminants produced by burning dirtier coal and which so occlude their atmosphere.
