Failing to engage economic reality means the Liberal winner gets no traction. The ball passes to Trump or even the diminished Poilievre.
Basically, the Liberal wannabes are auditioning for the Canadian version role of the of Letitia James or Fani Willis. They’re all saying, we’re going to get Trump. Not a lick of sense between the four of them. This country is so F’ed.
They will all be hellbent on getting back at BaD OrAnGeMaN, in their own moronic ways, as they plunge CaNaDuH into an economic depression. And it will spiral to Stagflation as the Libs run the printing presses at light speed.

Why would you assume that there would be an election in September 2026 if he’s going to the trouble of suspending the constitution?
I read somewhere that buried in the act, there is a provision to suspend elections for 18 months.
Not much need to suspend a useless joke like the Canadian constitution, the Librano Supreme Court of Canada defers to the Libranos, always.
The way I read it, is IF the Emergencies Act is legal (and it appears to be, they used it once),
then it is constitutional and the Courts would affirm that. And Trudy and Carney et al would
know that.

2. The comment from James Carville that the Trump Administration will collapse in 4 – 6 weeks.
3. The general dastardly behaviour of the EU.

Your criticism of Viva is overly harsh but I agree that many podcasts, not just his, are too long. Most days I don’t have time to watch a 1hour+ podcast, and I’m retired. Sometimes though I’ll listen to one while I’m doing some mindless task like house cleaning or weeding the garden.

I am reserving judgement on the polls that are now proclaiming the Liebs either tied or even leading the cons.
The media in their panic could ( I said “COULD”) be attempting to manipulate public opinion with these bogus polls, just like what the American pollsters tried to do, convincing Americans that the 2024 election was a “dead heat.”
They lie! They ALWAYS lie! Has the Liebs made gains? Maybe. Is public opinion really as close as the recent polls are making them out to be? We’ll have to just wait and see, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the media is once again trying to gaslight the nation.
What happens next? An exodus of Canadian capital to the US.
After that? I would expect capital controls.
