            Having said that, I’m not a fan of Putin either, and I am concerned that Trump is isolating Zelensky from any peace negotiation involving the two combatant nations.

            Freddie made an asinine assertion about “Zelensky trying to save his own skin.” Feddie is an idiot, so it is not surprising that this comes from him. Don’t be like Freddie.

            Zelensky could have always asked for asylum in, for example, Poland and would be granted it no questions asked. And good luck digging him out then.* He stayed and so did his wife. He was offered evacuation and his defiance will forever be remembered “I need ammo not a ride”. And it was selfless, he could have decided to be Ukrainian Dalai Lama, and give guest lectures at western universities for the rest of his live. Instead he is dodging air strikes and association attempts. He is not a coward looking to save his skin. He is courageous. Orders of magnitude more courageous so than the coward in the Moscow bunker.

            *Hundreds of family members of Ukrainian government officials, that orks would murder or taken hostage if given half a chance, have been granted sanctuary in Poland.

            Many leaders have inspired their respective nations to fight on.
            Some of them have proper motivations, like Winston Churchill. Others’ motivations, like the other guy, did not.
            IMHO, Zelensky fits in the latter category. He led his nation to utter destruction, and profited from it. This war did not have to happen, but thanks to Europe (specifically Boris), a peace deal that was in the works was tossed.

            About Trump and negotiations. Trump is not isolating Zelensky. Trump is negotiating with both russians and Ukrainians. I have concerns about where the negotiations are going and I have serious concerns about Trump either not understanding or not carrying about the nature of of the Siberian beasts.

            Any peace would be brief and would simply give orks time to rearm and attack again. Maybe they would try to finish Ukraine next, or attack Baltic States, or Azerbaijan, or Kazakhstan but russia can only export terror, such is its nature. Terror and demands for appeasement are the only currency that that whore of nations has left. Trump either does not not understand that, which means gross incompetence, or he does not care which means he or his successor will have to care about a greeter threat later. Or the third option, the negotiations are just a show and an eventual excuse for Trump to declare “oh well I tried” and pull out.

            But the bottom line is that despite his personal animosity towards Zelensky and his recent bullshit tirades that idiots are regurgitating ad nauseum, Trump is not isolating Zelensky.

            And no, Zelensky does not have 4% support. He is not a dictator. US did not give Ukraine hundreds of billions of dollars. And so on and on. All those statements are bullshit.

          9. “Inspiration for what?” You ask. To preserve Ukrainian way of life free from the Siberian boot on their neck. Yes, that is something absolutely worth fighting for. And not something unprecedented either. That is something that people in Central Europe have been fighting for, literarily, since the first Mongol Invasion. Hundreds of million have died over centuries. The Siberian subhuman way is foreign and revolting to the civilized. And yes, it will be resisted.* That in the end is all this war is about.

            Also Zelensky did not “lead his nation to utter destruction” he fought with his people to preserve the nation. Sometimes you do not have a good choice. Sometimes your choices are to fight on your feet or die on your knees. It is russia that, in its downright genetically predisposed way, brought destruction, rape, torture and genocide upon Ukraine.
            Zelensky did not enrich himself – that is bullshit propaganda, you should know better.
            The BoJo peace deal story is also bullshit. Why do you keep hanging onto that?

    Donald Trump isn’t mentioned once in the article. Instead, Zelensky has called for peace talks and according to the EU the stakes could be the future of Europe itself. So who woke up?
