Let me summarize their thesis: 60 Minutes has released this piece to normalize the clampdown on free speech. Margaret Brennan tried to do the same against Marco Rubio. So, why would they be doing this? According to these journalists, the Revenge of the Deep State is going to be happening sooner than you think. CBS News, being a reliable mouthpiece for the Deep State, is doing their part to lay the groundwork.
What you’re seeing in Germany is nothing short of totalitarian actions by a Police State. It’s all dressed up to make you feel comfortable about it, but do not be fooled!

I have no idea whether Brennan is ignorant, indoctrinated, or simply inane? But she is clearly pushing a narrative … as surely as ol’ Adolph pushed a narrative. And if she had her way … we’d all be speaking leftist tropes like she does, or we’d be a lampshade.

The Jews are the lucky ones. They can emigrate to Israel any time, and it’s pleased the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to finally have someone as president of the United States who actually take the side of the Jews against their enemies.

“Hate speech” has become “speech that the authorities don’t like” quicker than the road-runner with it’s burst of speed to avoid getting captured by Wile E. Coyote.
You can’t have “free speech with limits.” any limits to free speech implies that you do not have free speech.
Oh, what about yelling “fire” in a crowded theatre, you may ask? To which, I would say, what if there really was a fire?
When I’m talking about free speech, I am obviously excluding saying anything that would cause actual harm, threatening violence, or slander. Hurt feelings does not fall into that category, and I wouldn’t consider making threats to be actual free speech. The freedom to speak freely on political matters, matters of concern in the public sphere, or express a sincere and legitimate opinion without persecution or retribution is how I would define free speech.
