Post Millennial- Judge lifts pause on Trump buyout offer, says unions don’t have standing in lawsuit
The judge ruled that the unions lacked standing to sue and that his court lacked jurisdiction in the case. The judge added that the unions were not directly impacted, as the action was not impacting the unions, but their lawsuit was “challenging a policy that affects others, specifically executive branch employees.”
Globe and Mail- Mass firings of federal workers begin as Donald Trump, Elon Musk purge U.S. government

When Canadian governments change it is common for the incoming government to fire senior government and crown corp employees appointed by the previous government.
It is also common for some of those employees to resign.
Of course, as is the want of the propaganda media, they omit that the program is voluntary buyout.
So much for anti orange propaganda.
It’s a voluntary buyout, not firings. There are firings too, and maybe the G&M should get into the details of those. Such as $54 millions of unauthorized payments for migrants in NY hotels?
“Reporting by Tim Reid, editing by Ross Colvin and Nick Zieminski”
that’s an interesting way to claim ownership of the propaganda
Yeah … I’ll let you all know when those “mass firings” of Federal “workers” has any impact whatsoever on my life. Dum dum, de, dum, dum, dum. Yeah, I’ll let you know.
Like when they threaten us with shutting down the government. Hell, that’s the only time we have the amount of government operating that we actually need.
It’s amazing that this single judge read the Constitution, and knows that his (inferior) court does not have jurisdiction over the executive branch of government at the highest level.
Oh Lord, I see what you have done for the USA and I ask the same for Canada.
