Business leaders can ask all they want, but it ain’t gonna happen. The interests of the nation can take a back seat while the Liberal party sorts out their leadership mess at a leisurely pace.
More than 100 Canadian business leaders have signed a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau asking him to recall Parliament to deal with Canada’s trade issues with the United States.
And Justin’s response? Cue the crickets, evening breezes, and lonely frog serenades. He doesn’t give a damn being completely focused on his ‘ruthless” end of times agenda before leaving office (maybe).
the images of Trudeau in those links say it all. striding like a little ruthless girl aware of the camera upon his little visage. enough to make one’s bile disgorge.
I still am amazed that he doesn’t burst into flames, spontaneously.
Potato gains nothing by ceding power. He can delay ad nauseum, and he will. He can punish Canada for not following his enlightened suicide pact, and he will. That is his dominant strategy. And knowing how lobotomized average Canadians are, there is always a chance that they will reelect him (with a generous help from Maxipads).
Have we heard the impacted steel and aluminum producing industies calling for an immediate election? Team Canada?

The Trump Admin is going to be in power for the next 4 years, with a great chance of being re-elected with VP Vance at the helm. Canada has no answer to this, no plan for the country to “do better”.

The guys who did sign this letter are no doubt outsiders of the Liberal deep state which runs Canada.

Even though the judge is going to hear the “Emergency Submissions” that the PM prorogued parliament illegally, I’m sure the judge will take his time answering whether or not that is true, until at least march 10th, after all it was such an emergency, that he waited a month before allowing a hearing.
Longshot coming. Jccf challenge against the prorogation is being heard Thursday/Friday. There’s a chance Parliament will be ordered back.

When were judges given control of parliament? Did anyone here vote for a judge, anyone?
Maybe if the MP’s salaries were prorogued in step with parliament being prorogued, the court wouldn’t have to be called upon to chase them back to work?
