    1. She was obliquely pushing the notion that … “there is no business case for an Eastern pipeline”. Because there is no ewwwwww capitalist corporation who would build the pipeline. But the CBC “journalist” is too dull witted to ask WHY no corporation wants to invest in a pipeline that will be forever fought and killed by the leftist Canadian government.

      She seems to think that corporations are stupid … like her

    Nine solid years of crushing the pipeline business, to the point where Trans Canada Pipelines GAVE UP and moved to Texas. And took “Canada” and “Pipeline” out of their name, too, now they are “TC Energy.” I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more blatant “F-!!!! YOU!!! CANADA!!!” than that, honestly. They might as well have changed it to “F- Trudeau!”

    But now, Trump makes a couple of mean tweets, and suddenly the CBC is raging at Scott Moe that he’s gotta build a pipeline? And I’m supposed to think that’s “news.”

    1. There is also PanCanadian Petroleum created out of Canadian Pacific Oil & Gas that became Encana and is now Ovintiv that is HQ Denver.

    2. I think there’s a little more to the name change.

      Trans Canada Pipe made a lot of enemies in the US building the XL pipeline. They treated landowners badly and soon had property rights groups on their ass, by threatening eminent domain and other roughshod tactics. All this did was alienate Trans Canada from the very landowners they needed cooperation from. Unnecessary delays were the result.

      I don’t think they understood American culture when it comes to property rights. They didn’t do their shareholders any favours.

    If this place ever gets a government that is not the Liberal racist Party, then whoever they may be must send security to lock the doors of all CBC buildings and shut down all CBC websites immediately.

    Ignorant racist CBC bigots are probably not too worried though, the Liberal racist Party owns all of government and media, including “Elections Canada” – the people who count the votes…

  7. Maybe if conservatives (fed and provincial) would have simply called the fraud of AGW/Climate change the blatant easily proveable fraud that it is, instead of playing footsie with the issue lest they be called “denier”, we would have pipelines going every which way.

  8. L- The Sask Party gov’t does support energy and mining to produce revenue for said government; but then turns over how that public monies are spent to the NDP. Who have
    infiltrated choke points in every prov. and municipal Institution.

    This explains why Cult. Marxism(D.E.I., Climate Crisis, anti-colonialism, the worship of the
    Administrative State, purging Christian values and denigrating Western Civilization) rule so
    much of our lives.

    Who will answer for this? Who will even ask? Exercising Free Speech, Freedom of Association
    and that of Peaceful Assembly gets you censored, fired, fined, your bank account frozen,
    being debanked, arrested, thrown in solitary confinement prior to trial.

    Why? Because people who “*Live Not By Lies” can bring down a dictatorship! Self Government,
    like government of self requires sacrifice to protect what you truly love.

  9. It is within scope of the let’s all pretend we have a constitution act for Alberta and Saskatchewan to collect all federal taxes here and then remit Taxes due to the federal government in barrels of oil or equivalents. Available on demand. All the feds would have to do is build a pipeline…

  10. I’m thinking the Liberals might find the “business ” idea of another pipeline attractive.With the 20 billion loan Freeland granted just before she quit it appears TMX is approaching 60 billion. For a 6 billion project. Wonder where all the money went? Buy Canadian!

  12. Only the government of Canada could take a $6 billion pipeline that cost Canadians nothing, and turn it into a $30 billion and counting pipeline at taxpayer expense.

    Whatever they propose next will go just as well.

    1. I don’t believe there is anyone foolish enough to undertake a new pipeline initiative under the present political climate. They lost massive amounts of capital trying to get approvals previously. We are well on the way to making the quarter the new penny and the loonie par with pesos should we not get a change of government. Quebec says they have the “green ” energy, so they don’t need our oil. Should the Liberals/NDP win and they undertake a project, we have seen what happened.
