Coulda Had A Pipeline

It’s not just about tariffs. If you examine what the America First advisers around Trump really think, you’ll understand their determination to undertake a sweeping overhaul of the global economic system — and why they’re starting with Canada. Brian’s guests this week, trade researcher Carlo Dade, from the Canada West Foundation, and Ian Lee, public policy professor at Carlton University, have done their homework…

The ad interruptions are irritating, but stick with it.

  1. It occurs to me that I haven’t come across any response from industry/business associations or corporate execs, first when Trumps announced tariffs were coming, and now with Justine’s limp-wristed response.

Are they so emasculated that they dare not speak out even when it’s their export earnings that are going to take a hit.

  2. Trump must crush the kleptocracy running Canadastan.
The 51st state may yet turn out to be a prophecy, he needs to show TruDOPE and his CCP controlled minions No Quarter.
It’s worth the price, we are but a vassal state of China so long as the Laurentian Elite remain in charge of both main parties.
Hope you bought your gold while it was cheap.

  3. Oil is pretty important to our modern society. If silly Canadians can be kept poor (controlled), they’ll never be clever enough to build oil export pipelines so as to control their own destiny. Better yet, get Canadians to sewer themselves.

    1. What do you think those tariff relief checks are for? How much debt was accrued by Canadians during the pandemic relief actions? How much debt was defaulted on?

You will own nothing, less than nothing, and be happy for it — that’s the message your masters bring you, wrapped in a flag.

I suppose everyone has to come to their crossroads at some point. Perhaps you Canadians are presently at yours; the choice is yours. I don’t feel badly for you, but I do wish you luck in your choice.

      1. You’re welcome LindaL.
I’m not sure but I have a sense that YOU may have introduced Ruechel to me during the covid daze.

  4. It’s an interesting conversation, I think the gist of it can be summed up at 47.40 in the video…

“The #Libranos are going to run against Trump, I don’t think the #Libranos want the tariffs to come to an end, I’m that cynical about the #Libranos, their goal is the re-election of the #Librano Party, not to save Canada from Donald Trump.”

    I agree with this 100%
I hope the west separates from tier 2 Canada, and those remaining in the damaged remains of Canada can forever say that they lost the west, because of the #Libranos and their flawed “thinking”.

      This. In spades.

We don’t WANT Canada to be a state. We want it to be a viable country and a good neighbor. So long as y’all are ruled by Trudeau et al, you won’t be a good neighbor. Which is why, within the next four or five weeks, you can expect to see Trump harden our northern border. Which will be a pain in the rear for everyone.
