‘The concentration of power by Thomas Pitfield and others over the database of individual Canadians’ private information is profoundly troubling’: Elbert Paul, former LPC agency auditor
Firstly, a major benefit of a liberal democracy as a safeguard against autocracy includes government transparency and accountability. This means that liberal democracies hold elected officials and government institutions accountable to the people. This helps ensure that government policies are transparent and respond to the needs of the people, and that corruption and abuse of power are eliminated. The issue of lack of transparency in the Liberal Party of Canada was reported by CTV News in March 2017:
“One of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s closest friends is benefiting from an exclusive agreement between his data analytics company and the Liberal Party of Canada.”
In responding to an inquiry from CTV News, the LPC representative refused to disclose the value of the contract with Data Sciences Ltd., owned by Thomas Pitfield, husband of Anna Gainey, then President of the Liberal Party of Canada. Data Sciences Inc. performs baseline research, polling, gathering information on target audiences, making strategic campaign decisions and evaluating potential political success. It was reported that Ms. Gainey recused herself from the decision to award the contract. CTV stated that Canadians may never know the value of the 2016 contract entered into with Data Sciences Ltd. by the Liberal Party of Canada. […]
[W]hile government departments and private companies are governed by federal privacy laws (The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Document Act) which dictate how they must handle the private information of Canadians, federal political parties are exempt from these rules. This has allowed political parties to build valuable databases with private information about Canadians and their political inclinations. Because they are exempt from the law, political parties have no obligation to tell Canadians what information their databases contain about them.

There is no depth of corruption that the Liberals/NDP will not plumb because they have no moral code and no personal belief in a divine justice. They are venal, spouting their dogma of false virtue and caring all the while ravaging the treasury for personal gain, and destroying what they vowed to protect. God will judge them harshly because they lie constantly and consistently. From Proverbs 6:
16 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,
19 a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
Does this not describe the Liberal management style to perfection? And here’s the previous verses of that same chapter:
12 A worthless person, a wicked man, goes about with crooked speech,
13 winks with his eyes, signals with his feet, points with his finger,
14 with perverted heart devises evil, continually sowing discord;
15 therefore calamity will come upon him suddenly; in a moment he will be broken beyond healing.
God will judge and it will be final. Pray that we may have relief from these sinners soon.
Presumably this incestuous relationship is not taxpayer funded so the data is private property belonging to the deranged members of the LPC. You pay pollsters to acquire data and it becomes yours. I don’t see this as unusual or sinister unless you are an LPC member and concerned with how the party is managed. I was on the EDA board of the CPC and I was disgusted and left them two elections ago. Political parties are awful organizations.
You’ve been monetized.
Well, no wonder I feel so cheap! I thought it was just the company I’d been keeping.
The NSA and ChiComs have had this info for years.
Seems pretty Orwellian that Canadian political parties can gather info on anyone and everyone especially when the Liberal Scumfcks want to pass a future crime bill.
I would make political parties illegal if I was made King for a day.
Sure, its low down on the very long list that includes heads on pikes, mass deportations and setting up C.A.G.E.
Somehow the LPC got my cellphone number, and I got a text the other day asking if I wanted to join.
Well, time to rank vote Anybody But Carney, ABC, I guess. 😉
The title of this article could be: Liberal Party of Canada: Pro Rogue.
But are we to believe the LPC and the CCP will bow to his ten demands? Elbert King Paul comes across as a proud party member, shitting his pants over the demise of his Liberal Party of Canada when the world soon realizes it’s run by the Chinese Communist Party. This column is an appearance of clearing ones conscience, but he hasn’t rescinded his membership, and commies kill finks.
Dante puts liars in the eighth circle of hell, traitors in the ninth. To which should Trudeau be condemned?
He goes along with usurers in the 7th circle. I’ll give you 3 guesses as to why.
Well if South Park can be relied upon, I would assume he gets to replace Saddam Hussein as Satan’s eternal willing sex partner.
Please don’t spit at your screen, but I used to be a member of the Liberal Party of Canada when I thought they were more benign.
I have worked on LibList, as the Liberal Party of Canada database is called, during an election. I live in an area that only goes Liberal or NDP and the dipper was for open borders and a public supporter of Hezbollah and Fatah.
The last two elections I voted PPC. I guess regardless of the candidates I will be going with Pierre Poilievre even though I suspect he will not go far enough (ie. no temporary foreign workers unless agricultural, cracking down on employers who use illegals, no foreign aid to anybody, refuse to pay United Nations “dues”, no funding of NGO’s, but at least I hope he defunds the CBC,) and that this riding is still extremely likely to go Lieberal or NDP.
Websites like Nationbuilder back then provided services such as scouring the whole web to get your Facebook page, Twitter account and any email accounts that might be yours to flag, for you to verify if they are correct.
As well, the campaign manager for the local riding election, an Ottawa hack, was boasting about how MailChimp shared the “enemy’s lists with us” just like MailChimp did for the Demoncrats against the GOP.
As well I saw the Liberal candidate lie through his teeth and him or assistants putting in any information directly into LibList such as the names of their children, what their occupation was, or anything they thought of relevance. The software for that capability in 2015 came from Team Obama.
I got dragged out part of one day to go with the candidate and saw that candidate and now MP tell a voter that “my kid goes to the same daycare as yours”, and mentioned its name, and afterwards laughed and said “that’s two more votes” and commented on how it was a lie, but that it was in the database probably from an earlier time when he chatted the person up.
The amount of personal information that I saw in updating the local data, astounded me. My job was to use my experience with names to add “ethnicity” to the db, and as I found out later that was to match up people (in my strong belief including many non-citizens) who were not on the voters lists with someone of their same ethnicity who was in their poll location to vouch that they were eligible to vote were not. I believe that, because I saw people I knew personally who were not citizens and questioned why they were in the voters database, and had another manager tell me those were the most important people in the db, and that I was never to put that opinion into the db. From what I could ascertain even with the decentralized election day system (tactics from Team Obama) it looked like a system to bus people to the polls on a scale unlike I have ever seen on any Liberal or Conservative (I had worked on a three, one as a scrutineer, for people I knew) in over a few decades.
My policy I have told my Conservative and Liberal friends (the latter of which I have fewer and fewer) over more than two decades is that if you answer the door for any canvasser or candidate, unless you know them personally, to tell them you hate their party and would never vote for them, even if it is the party you support.
The reason for this, is that all main party databases record what party the canvasser or candidate believes you vote for, generally CPC, Lieberal or NDP, or “NOT” (their party). Being tagged as “Not Liberal” (or whatever party’s the database is for,) means that you have told them something like “I and my wife will never vote for your party even if Hell freezes over”. A “NOT” in their database means they will avoid you, might leave campaign literature, but will not knock on your door.
try to find out who you are voting for which is none of any of their damn business anyways.
The big benefit of the all the parties thinking you hate them (even if you do vote for one), is that they will not mail you or phone you for donations, to volunteer on the election campaign or, call you for surveys or knock on your door to try to find out who you are voting for which is none of their damn business anyways.
I will vote for Pierre Poilievre’s local candidate, but have some concerns because I think he did not do enough to supporter the Parliamentary Budget Officer, who was trying to find out where all the Liberal government COVID infrastructure money went. Unless things changed, the Liberal government stonewalled him on unaccounted for billions of dollars and never handed over the documents, and I think that needs to be continuously in the public eye until all those contracts are handed over to the PBO, as is that’s office’s right.
An aside: today, I had a very elderly (Liberal) friend call me and ask me about what he heard on TV, a claim that what Trump is doing is just like the Nazis during the Holocaust, (no joke) with rounding up poor people and dragging them from their homes to deport. He would not tell me what program he was watching, but from past experience I would assume it was either CNN or The View. I hope I set him straight, when I told him it was an insult for them to compare any of this to the Holocaust, as the US has no “death camps” and right now it is only the most violent criminals, but that all of them have broken US law at a minimum by entering the US illegally. If they were honest people all they had to do is go to the US consulate in their country ask about legally emigrating to the USA or political asylum and given the US government a chance to properly vet their background such as for any criminal record and job skills.
Sorry for the rant. I am not feeling well today, have not gotten much sleep of late, and I decided to take it out on you all here! 🙂
For those who don’t recognize the name, Thomas Pitfield is the son of the infamous Michael Pitfield. Some details here.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Pitfield
Michael was the SOB who turned the PMO into an agency controlling the whole of the federal government under Pierre.
Given how corruptly they deal with taxpayer money, why would anyone assume they’d be any better at the party level?
I have always found it dodgy that banking and CRA access are possible (if you’re gullible) through one banking portal. We’re told the government can’t peek in at your banking info. R-i-i-ght, they wouldn’t tell a fib, surely?
