  1. Far be it from me that he should take his concerns to the Human Rights commission.
I mean that would just be the absolute height of irony that the party of the charter be the defendant in a human rights complaint.

  2. Shades of Iggy, they want to anoint Mark to continue Justine’s legacy of failure and corruption?

      1. Could have gone something like this

“Sorry old chap, it’s a nice club, but your not one of ours”

      2. It’s the name. Elect him, and they’ll be calling you the “Aryan Nation”. Can’t have that.

  3. The Laurentian elites have spoken. Is there anyone left in this world who thinks Canadians are going to get a say in this process?

No matter how much you hate the malignant cancer that is the Liberal Party it isn’t enough.

    1. It’s anyone who still rabidly supports the Lieberals that are in need of disparaging.
I have no sympathy for Arya, he is one of those supporters.

  4. Not surprising. The Liberal Party wants a coronation but have to go through the facade of a leadership race. Anyone who threatens the crown prince, Carney, will be “encouraged” to drop out or removed.

I registered as a Liberal member because the Liberal leadership race has become an election on who will be the Canadian prime minister. I think it’s important for Canadian citizens to realize the importance of getting involved because you can be sure, given the lax registration process, non-citizens and children over 14yo will be voting. The way the voting system works, voters in rural ridings in places like Alberta and Saskatchewan will actually have influence over the results.

      1. Not sure exactly how counting is done. Looks like ranked ballot within each riding but not 100% sure. Will there be creative counting? It wouldn’t surprise me at all.

If it was just a leadership race I wouldn’t get involved but the winner will become the prime minister. Since a Canadian prime minister has unchecked power, it’s important to vote in self defense. If Singh or Blanchette decides to support the new Liberal leader then that new prime minister will have many months to damage Canada and certain provinces.

        1. I would have gotten involved if I thought it could have made a difference. This is over. Done. Full stop. The CBC is trashing Freeland, they have their orders. Is there a betting market on the leadership? A 90% ticket is an excellent bet, guaranteed 10% return in 7 weeks.

      2. Counting the votes?
        Are you kidding?
They knew Art Carney was their choice before Trudeau and Freeland had their “disagreement”.
This is the LPC. It’s all theatre, for the media to keep them on the news.

        1. Why do you call Mark carney “Art Carney”? It’s an insult to the memory of a very good comedic actor who brought us a lot of great entertainment over the years.
Mark Carney, otoh, is a green zealot, globalist, totalitarian loving Liberal insider.

          There’s no comparison.

      1. Remember the 2020 Democrat presidential primary debate where Tulsi made mincemeat of Kameltoe? If there are no other challengers to debate, Carney gets a smooth ride – no irritating, embarrassing, questions his way. If only the Turd hadn’t pissed off the Ukrainian potato wench, it would be the coronation only a liberal would be proud of. As it is, we now get to enjoy the spectacle of 2 WEF creeps slag each other while tip-toeing around their globalist first/Canada last records.

  5. Is it possible to perform a “write-in” for the position? If so, I may reconsider my plan to sit in the bleachers with a tub of popcorn.

  6. Unlike their fellow travelers in the DNC, they at least allow the “membership” a robust delusion of a vote, but yes, it’s a coronation of Carney. To the left, democracy is a necessary evil that they strive to eventually eliminate. California is their model.

  7. Someone started a movement for people to join the Liberal party, and vote for this guy, who barely speaks English and no French, for leader. I guess the party found out. Too bad.

    1. That’s my immediate suspicion.

His candidacy will somehow cause embarrassment to the Liberals and they need to avoid this bad PR

Something is OBVIOUSLY up and i hope The Real Story will come out

Someone in these comments also suggest that it may have something to do with an inter-Indian feud and or Indian diaspora politics. That’s also interesting and also potentially embarrassing to the Libs

      Any whistle blowers out there?

  8. It’s not possible for me to think worse of the. #Libranos than I already do.
I think it’s important that the reason for the #Libranos to deny his candidacy be made public, and I did look at the CBC site for the reason for this however the #Libranos have not responded to their media people there as of yet. I don’t know who else they’d advise prior to the CBC but, we’re in some strange times.

I doubt the party is threatened by his having a possibility of winning, it seems to me that they’re attention whores who simply want to minimise the field and focus on the main selection.

Warren Kinsella re X/tweeted this info, but no insight into the reason

  9. If he was in the US he couldn’t run for Prez..
How any foreign born landed as a adult could be allowed to run for office is amazing.
    Not even as Chief Dog-catcher.

    1. In the United States, the poeple are also able to vote directly for their head of state.
Not so in the Democratic Peoples Republic of Kanada. Here, the head of state is a foreign national (Charlie the Third) represented in Canada by a “Governor General” appointed on recommendation by the Prime Minister (“PM”). “This is who I want as my boss because he (or she) will do exactly as I say.”
No one votes for the Prime Minister in any general election or any by-election, you can only vote for your local Member of Parliament (“MP”). Citizenship requirements for MPs only require the person live within the riding they are seeking election. Even then there isn’t a lot of vetting. Putin could run in a riding if he could get enough signatures and rents an apartment.
The PM is the person that is the Leader of the Partly that has the most party members elected as MPs. The PM is still just an MP.
Cabinet ministers are appointed by the PM usually from other elected same Party MPs. In rare instances a member from an opposition party has been appointed. And a very rare instance where an unelected person was appointed. There is no confirmation process to vet any minister as there is in the US.

    1. Here are the further details:

      Carney wins.
Rank the rest based upon the narrative we will release via the CBC in due course.

      TPTB

    2. Chandra Arya is a Hindu, the LPC prefers the Sikhs. Arya also refused to join the chorus condemning India for the death of the Sikh radical in Burnaby.
He also doesn’t gasp…. speak French.

He also may not be favored by China.

    3. The requirement that they are all ignoring, contained in their constitution is that any candidates deliver to the national president at least 90 days before the leadership election, the written nomination, of 300 Liberals, in at least 3 provinces (100 each).

And that’s where he can sue.

  10. This makes it look like the problem has to do with diaspora disputes between Hindus & Sikhs:
// During the 2021 election campaign, Arya was criticized by members of the Ottawa Punjabi Association, who put up anti-Arya signs during the campaign. They accused him of not taking a stronger stance against the Indian government’s efforts to reform certain farming practices.
In 2022, Arya became the first member of parliament to speak in Kannada, his mother tongue, in the House of Commons of Canada. Arya blamed “Khalistani extremists” for vandalizing Hindu temples in Toronto.[10] //
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chandra_Arya
I think that the Liberals have been identified with the Sikh element, ever since 2015 when someone noted that
there were more Sikhs in the Canadian parliament than in the Indian one.

    1. Bananada:

This is the post-nation where politicians w multiple citizenships enter politics to advance the interests of their preferred “home” country, on Bananada’s dime and time – and who wouldn’t do it? Win and have the taxpayers of Bananada fund your “home” nation’s programs and more! Due to the enclaves of “newcomers” who were told to bring their grievances along with, now vote for local politicians, to fix things back “home.”

The only ones who still don’t know outside of “Canada” we’re Bananada, are the ones holding onto a sentimentality about “Canada” that maybe never existed in the actual power centre of “Canada.”

    2. This is probably where one needs to start digging

One reason many Canadians hate Liberals is their constant ethnic pandering and their involving themselves in diaspora politics

If Arya’s candidacy bring this to light for all the blue-pilled normie Liberal supporters this would be a black eye for a party hoping to “re-invent”* itself with rank and file Canadians

This story deserves much broader distribution

*all window dressing for the cheap seats but many reflexive Liberal supporters are idjits who would buy it

    1. Geez. I’m thinking that would have put him front and center! I mean, there’s no way li’l white Carney could have topped that on the DEI culture scale.

  11. The coronation of Carney continues.
While scrolling online this past week, only CBC has been tongue bathing the Carney, today I noticed a CTV copy.
No comments allowed so I did not bother reading either.
    The headline was enough.
And a real annoying Anti Pierre add is now popping up on Utube..Making much of PP being a career civil servant…apparently paid for by the Civil Service Unions of Canada..impossible to parody these Idiot Bureaucrats.
The brush they are smearing PP with fits them so well.
As for “Not Permitted to Run” ..ain’t that so perfectly Liberal Can Ahh Duh?
But I bet you, this Liberal MP remains a card carrying deep dipping voting Liberal for all his days in Canada.

  12. The guy has had more ethics issues than the Bong.

Maybe he didn’t post the $50k deposit in time? Whatever the issue is don’t expect to hear the truth.

  13. I don’t care one way or the other who the Liberal leader is, since I’m not voting for them.

  14. Not buying it…Carney is the chosen one and they made a deal with Arya.
    Liberals are liars.
Skoreyko brought up a good point today…where exactly does Mark Carney live?

  15. It looks like they approved Frank Baylis as a candidate…

I wonder if that’s so none of the information about how they selected Baylis Medical as the manufacturer of overpriced knock off respirators will ever see the light of day.
