That’s a VERY good question Joe. These DEI departments have turned into huge, powerful entrenched bureaucracies and sure the headlines are great, but I have a VERY hard time seeing these departments going gently into that Good Night. They are invidious and ruthless and for some reason, they truly believe they are doing God’s Work. Someone should really follow up all of these Great Announcements
Change the name, obfuscate the process, lie about its presence. Some implementers merely blow before the political wind and can be dissuaded, but far too many are true believers. They will not quit.

Companies know that for the next 4 years the Justice Department isn’t going to take an elephant dump on them for not discriminating against whites. The law will get back to what was meant, equal opportunity. Regardless, companies will still have to make an effort for their staff to be a reflection of the community. I suspect Target already reflects the greater community.
Anything OTHER than a merit-based (Free Marketplace) is doomed to FAILure. Every major corporation is operated by people who know this. But they also know the DAMAGE government can and will do to them if they don’t toe the government line. So the Corporations … strategically … went along with the social engineering program dujour … hence “transgender” beer.
