  1. Tubby Black, Baron Black of Crossharbour:
    Carney isn’t an outsider — he’s a dyed-in-the-wool liberal like Trudeau
The former central bank governor is a tired tribune of failed attitudes and misdirected political reflexes

“… Mark Carney’s claim to be a complete outsider coming from high non-political positions in the public and private sectors, and riding to the renovation of the country, strains credulity. He has been an intimate collaborator of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for several years, and his campaign to succeed him seems effectively to be managed by the outgoing prime minister’s two closest collaborators, Gerald Butts and Katie Telford… ”

    1. Elite outsider

He is an outsider in that he is a member of the wealthy trans-national elites that have absolutely no connection to the people they want to rule.

Wealthy elites would continue to do very well under his regime, regular canadians not so much.

    2. Carney, like Telford and Butts, is a career bureaucrat (aka Ottawa establishment hall monitors)

  2. So much winning….

ExxonMobil Is Done Playing Nice—And Rob Bonta Should Be Worried

“It looks like ExxonMobil has finally had enough of California’s environmentalist clown show. In a move that can only be described as epic, Exxon has filed a defamation lawsuit against California Attorney General Rob Bonta and his merry band of activist accomplices, including the Sierra Club and other virtue-signaling outfits. Their crime? Allegedly smearing Exxon’s reputation..”

And the best part is, they filed the suit in a Texas court.

    1. ““It’s Surreal Seeing Fat American Retards Find Out China Is a Much Better Country Than America
      January 18, 2025””

I couldn’t figure out why you liked this blatant propaganda piece until I came across the Jew hatred, then it made perfect sense…

    2. Yeah. I bet they still remember when China used tanks to crush their own matty!

      Forget that time did ya.

  3. I am disturbed by the sky-high expectations regarding Trump’s new gig. Optimism is important, but so is realism.

    1. I believe there are two factors at work:
      1. Elation at the departure of the Biden Crime Family.
      2. Happy anticipation of the restoration of common sense via 47.

I don’t recall people ever being this excited about a president leaving.

      1. I am happy that this man beat the system and its continual persecution of of him. That he was victorious against all possible adversity is truly amazing and sets a good president precedent.

  4. The World Economic Forum kicks off today in Davos Switzerland, on the same day Trump is inaugurated.

    1. The “not invited” needs to have a participation party so they can feel important too.
A careful listing of all who attend would be a good base line of the enemies ranks.

Which one is Carney at? Our largest trading partner or the New World Order?

    1. It is wonderful seeing them deploy skills passed down from their ancestors.

4 or 5 hours without electricity must surely produce lasting psychological damage.

      1. isnt there a sort of collective education facility they could attend to learn about things, like a school?

    2. Should be some good deals coming up on facebook market place in a week or so.
      New in Box Generator.

    3. Nobody will know how to run them. They’d be better off with a load of wood and a wood stove.

  5. -49oC in Timmins, Ontario this morning. Snow expected in southern Texas and freezing rain in northern Florida by Tuesday. Haven’t seen those temperatures since the late 1980s.

    1. Note how the evil bastard appears in the mug shot. Previously all the fotos of the perp shown by the corrupt media were when he was a cherubic youngster.
It’s a deceit repeated over and over again by the lyin’ media.

  6. “Baby it’s Cold Outside” a winter song with a nice warm feel to it. -34c here today but no wind!

The libranos have cut the conservative lead to 11 points in one week according to Ekos! Abacus still says 26 point lead

    1. 338 Canada shows 24 points. EKOS has a low trust rating for some reason? The only one consistently showing higher Lib numbers.
Both Cons and Libs up, Bloc and NDP down. Green and Peoples still (deleted reference) lining the bottom.
The war will be for second place.

      1. Posted a link from Facebook. Apparently it went into the never, neverland of 0’s and 1’s.
Looked for it again on the Facebook and it is gone.
        Coulda been an artificial creation.

  7. Vivek is out at DOGE? He’s going to run for governor in Ohio. If true that didn’t take long. Problems with Elon?

I’m skeptical that DOGE could do anything close to what they thought they could.

    1. Wouldn’t it be great if the idea of DOGE got exported to Britain? There it should be called CORGI (Committee On Reducing Government Intrusion/Interference/Idiocy) and chaired by Harry Robinson.

  8. I truly believe that when America absolutely needs to get it right, they do. Welcome back President Trump.
