I think Israel should keep going until Hamas no longer exists.
That does not mean a war with Iran, it means eliminating every single Hamas militant in Gaza.

I am in the process of reading the Bible as it is something which I have always wanted to do – I am on Proverbs now. But 2 Samuel is about the wish of the Jewish people to have kings, not judges rule them. So first it was King Saul and then King David and then his son Solomon (who wrote many of the proverbs!). All through the books of Judges, 1 and 2 Samuel and then into Kings and Chronicles, the Jews/Israelites have ALWAYS had to fight against the Philistines (modern day Palestinians) and it was about every 20 years just as it has been since 1948. David, when fighting for King Saul had a unique method of dealing with the Philistines – he was asked to bring King Saul 200 foreskins and so he just cut their penises off and presented same to King Saul. So that is one possible solution!

There are no “Palestinians.” “Palestinians” are Egyptians and Jordanians denied Egyptian or Jordanian passport. Palestine is a geographic designation not a country.
