  1. As people die waiting for first responders or die due to their failures, I’m quite sure the last thing that goes through their minds is not the smug pride from being part of a society that values deviant quotas over excellence in those relied upon to save your life.

  2. Has the local FD rehired those who were fired for not being vaxed? They were rehired in past large fires, but then fired again, and those are the ones who could actually lift a heavy person, they’d worked themselves up in positions after starting at the bottom.

Starting at the bottom isn’t something the DEI hires are accustomed to.
How large does the fire need to become, before the DEI protocols are abandoned?

They didn’t see anything wrong with it, this is who they are.

  8. A comment that covers both sides of the argument.

But clearly the cases have been made.

  9. In the middle of the worst disaster to hit Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bass decides selfies are important.

  10. Could be another firefighter in trouble and dying in that fire. I guess he got to the wrong place. Nice to have a boss that has your back like that. True leadership.
