Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Now for ten years, we’ve been on our own
And moss grows fat on a rollin’ stone
But that’s not how it used to be
i think he was straight out of that era
The information on edible/non-edible berries was good, but what I really want to know is who the first person was who thought it would be a good idea to eat raw oysters.
My guess is that some captured enemy was forced to eat a raw oyster, with the captors expecting a slow, agonizing death, and the guy fearfully ate one, then grinned and asked for another one… and some hot sauce, please.
My guess is people were eating raw oysters before they were what we now call people.
