This week, the Wall Street Journal released an alarming report on how the Biden administration may have suppressed dissenting views supporting the lab theory on the origin of the COVID-19 virus. Not only were the FBI and its top experts excluded from a critical briefing of President Biden, but government scientists were reportedly warned that they were “off the reservation” in supporting the lab theory.
The chilling suggestion is that, despite the virus ultimately killing more than 1.2 million Americans and over 7 million people worldwide, there was still an overriding interest in the administration to downplay the Chinese responsibility for the pandemic.
The Journal lays out how that unfolded, but the more disturbing question is why.
The article provides many examples of how dissenting views were marginalized and discouraged within the government. After President Trump described the virus as the “China virus” and alleged that it likely came from a lab, dismissing the lab theory became an article of faith in politics and academia.
The problem was that FBI researchers had concluded that the lab theory was the most credible explanation. But their lead researcher, Dr. Jason Bannan, was kept out of the key meeting, and their opposing research was discounted or ignored.
This is what happens with groupthink. If Trump believes it it has to be wrong. That is the only reason why this lab leak thing played out as it did. Also, Canada and the US were very much involved what was going on in Wuhan. They weren’t protecting China so much as protecting themselves.
They tried to change the focus away from the lab to keep the connection to Fauci secret. Seems pretty simple.

They needed to cover up Fauci’s latest crime against humanity?
First they lied about it not being a lab leak, now they are lying about the fact that Fauci approved the research and the funding for it, and did it in China because it would have been illegal in the US. China bears responsibility, but they were workig on behalf of the US, with US funding.
Fauci even deemed that the research could continue, despite laws against “gain of function” research, because “it was not that dangerous.”

Has the WHO discovered the origin of COVID yet? Isn’t that a key component of their “health” mission? To determine the vectors of disease? To SCIENTIFICALLY understand the origin of disease and stop its spread? Isn’t that why the WHO keeps issuing missives about the dangers and harms of eating meat? Or “studies” showing RoundUp causes cancer (despite no other legitimate researchers discovering that)?
But they’re uninterested in determining the origin of a novel virus that shut-down the entire world economy? Draw your own conclusion about the ChiCom-WHO connections.
Methinks the Dems are covering up their role in the whole sordid affair.
a) Fauci (the beagle killer) authorized gain of function research, and also knew the Wuhan lab wasn’t suitable for this type of research.
b) when COVID hit, senior Democrats, for example Pelosi, DeBlasio, etc. encouraged people to go to restaurants, the theatre, shopping centers and so on, thereby ensuring the affliction would spread rapidly.
c) other prominent Dems such as Andrew Cuomo, sent sick COVID patients into senior citizen care facilities, thus ensuring maximum fatalities.
All this to create a crisis so they’d have a better chance of beating Trump in the 2020 election.

Exactly! Who can name a personal acquaintance who died because of Covid? As you say, everything down to suicide was called a Covid death during the hype but annual All-Cause Deaths worldwide didn’t spike, PROVING that Covid couldn’t have been exceptionally deadly.
