  1. The Men Who Stare At Goats find the origin of the Nephilim as they are building their Chariots of the Gods.

  2. Yes, the CIA are working night and day to make this planet inhabitable. It’s only logical they’re looking for new planets and peoples to destroy

  3. Astral projection…remote viewing…telepathy. Get real. Hard pass on the pseudo science.
Remote viewing is about as scientific as the Drake Equation.
And when you read about supposed “declassified documents” somehow being mysteriously dug up deep within the bowels of the CIA…you just have to know you’re only reading about it because the CIA is allowing it.
Funny how the CIA can keep the JFK files from ever seeing the light of day…but aliens and giants? “Oh wow! how did that slip out???”
    Bullshit.

    1. The Drake equation is fine. Its the values that some people (probably folk like you), plug into it that are the problem.
Tell us, what part of the Drake equation, or its methodology, exactly, do you take issue with?
      More anti-science propaganda from you.

      1. Oh sure…A mathematical equation with absolutely no constants…one just has to plug in the numbers they want and presto changeo…life on other planets.
That a 1000 people in the same room would never reach the same answer is one of life’s eternal mysteries I guess.
Imagine Einstein telling the world that the C in E = mc2 – is whatever you’d like it to be.
Junk science for stupid people. *ahem*.
Here genius, don’t take my word for it.https://www.realclearscience.com/blog/2015/03/why_the_drake_equation_is_useless.html

        1. …and if you put in very conservative estimates, you get less than one intelligent life form per 100 000 galaxies.
          So what?
You fcking clowns whining about math are unreal.

          1. Ahh yes. You have some kind of certainty, and anyone who estimates something is some kind of blasphemer or know-nothing, and you are the true guardian of truth. We’ve spent a long time telling you freaks to eff off, and you’re still here ruining the world along with the rest of you lefty bastids.

      2. Wikipedia:

        The Drake equation is:

        N = R ∗ ⋅ f p ⋅ n e ⋅ f l ⋅ f i ⋅ f c ⋅ L
        where

        N = the number of civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy with which communication might be possible (i.e. which are on the current past light cone);

        and

R∗ = the average rate of star formation in our Galaxy.
fp = the fraction of those stars that have planets.
ne = the average number of planets that can potentially support life per star that has planets.
fl = the fraction of planets that could support life that actually develop life at some point.
fi = the fraction of planets with life that go on to develop intelligent life (civilizations).
fc = the fraction of civilizations that develop a technology that releases detectable signs of their existence into space.
L = the length of time for which such civilizations release detectable signals into space.

This form of the equation first appeared in Drake’s 1965 paper.

Out of all of that, we know R* with some measure of accuracy. The rest are conjecture, guesswork, and wishful thinking.

Much like Remote Viewing. Which, according to the article, they kept throwing money at until the 1990s despite knowing it was balderdash from start to finish.

        1. Drake came up with an equation, a way to let us think about it.
          What have you done?
You did eff all except whine about the inputs.
          Drake>>you.

        2. The issue is L.

Whether by war, genetic f*ckery, gain of function research, or AI development, no civilization lasts long enough before destroying itself to either discover FTL travel or overlap long enough with another civilization and have a chat by non-FTL em communications.

And that’s how God wants it. Time and distance are the barrier he designed.

  4. 2 of 3 of the Viking Lander’s tests for life gave positive results. This has been known for decades.

      1. No mention of the Viking lander in the article you posted. So you’re full of it.
People can do their own research into the Viking landers findings without you muddying the waters.

          1. ^^^This guy here, Burton, seems to be one of the Neil DeGrasse Tyson types who says don’t do your own research, and let him and his illk tell you what to think.
The fact remains that the Viking lander found some signs of life, not conclusive, but still compelling.
Burton is one of the shills here, I figure.

  5. Oh, c’mon. We all know that the skinny giant aliens are from Jupiter.
Mars has the little green men kind.
Earth has the stupid, gullible kind (called woke betas), tempered by a minority of sentient ones, (called deplorable alphas).

  6. The CIA spent money on this garbage. Shut them down. Gut the agency. Reduce head count by 75%.

Or, get rid of it altogether, and back the OSS.

    1. They’ll still have the DIA, NRO, NSA, NGA, MCI, MIC, ONSI, FBI, IB, IR, TFI, OICI, DHS….

  7. It’s truly remarkable the crap that people will believe. Next thing you know, someone will be shrieking about, ” a green mist coming from Mars.”

    1. “Yet across the gulf of space, minds that are to our minds as ours are to those of the beasts that perish, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us. “

      1. Well, when three aggressive locals advance menacingly on the Martian scout vessel vigorously brandishing a white flag, the galaxy-wide symbol of hostility, you must expect first contact trouble…

Re the Vikings, I seem to recall that the life-finding tests they had were ultimately deemed inconclusive in that the results obtained could just be from purely chemical reactions. Even my many Mars Society friends admit as much.

        1. They could have been from chemical reactions, they could have been from life.
I’ll put on my tinfoil hat and ask “Why have we never, since then, tried to determine of those results were from life or chemical reactions?”
Gotta admit, if we found even so much as a microbe on Mars, the Greenie types would use it as a propaganda tool to stop us from going there, heck, even Cody from Cody’s Lab has said as much.

  8. Life started on Earth less than 100 million years after conditions allowed it.
Mars had much longer than that with similar nice conditions, before its low gravity and tectonic freezing destroying the magnetic field allowed the Solar wind to slowly blow away its atmosphere.
I would be surprised if no life developed there, and single-celled organisms can be quite tough.
On Earth, it took almost 4 billion years for multi-cellular life to arise.
I think microbial life is much more common than most people think.

    1. Nice theory, dude.
How did you pinpoint those nice round-number years of 100 Million and 4 Billion?
Life started when God said Let there be light.
And that is also when microbial life began, as part of the great chain of being and the astounding miracle of the universe that I am grateful to be part of.
      Merry Christmas.

      1. Flat-earther creationist dolt.
I got those numbers from this thing called the fossil record, its good to within a few million years or so.
Of course you probably think men rode around on the backs of dinosaurs, and so on, because you can’t count, and counting is actually blasphemy in your books. You likely have much more in common with Islam than Christianity when it comes to science.

        1. Au contraire, nihilist dolt.
I am familiar with the Christian roots of discovery of deep time, from the natural scientists in gowns that saw the rocks and fossils, like Charles Lyell, on through to she that sold sea shells on the seashore.
Thus, I know that men and women rode on the backs of Christian giants, who counted better than you and your misbegotten blasphemy.
In short, I have more in common with the great tradition of god fearing men that married up faith and science and hence built our western world than you do,
So, yeah, I know Christian based science, and you are tiresome.
          Have a nice day.

  9. I think my favorite “PROOF” of previous life on Mars is the story that was making it’s way around a few years ago about how there was a nuclear war a long long time ago. Their proof of this is a “non-naturally” occurring isotope (Xenon 129) which can only be produced in such amounts as is found on Mars via nuclear fusion.

The only problem with that theory is that Xenon 129 is a naturally occurring isotope. A common one.

(PS: someone should have enlightened Joe Rogan before one of his guests spouted such nonsense).

Relative to Astral Projection and the like. A lot of those programs were less interested in any valid results and more interested in convincing the USSR that it was worth the financial investment to see if it worked. The goal being to bankrupt the country. Spoiler: The USSR was gullible enough to fall for it.

    1. My favorite thing to come out of the “remote viewing” bs was the movie “Suspect Zero.”

      1. I will not presume to make an assessment. 😀

I will, however, point out that, IMO, HG Wells nailed it within “War of the Worlds.” The primary issue that will keep us from exploring other inhabitable planets or moons is simply disease. As an example, within just one gallon of seawater on planet Earth you will find 10 to the 35th power viruses, bacteria and the like. Over the years humans have inhabited the Earth, we have developed a natural immunity to only SOME of these detriments. Were we to travel to another world, we’d have no such immunities. Similarly, a space alien coming here would face the same issues. Which, IMO, is why no one has taken a photo of a space alien on their I-Phone. They can’t live here. And, we can’t live there.

        1. 10 to the power 35 viruses etc. in a gallon of sea water?

Look up the number of atoms in a gallon of water.

      1. “Chick from Venus” makes you think of Chicks with dicks???
You have some pretty deep issues there, Gym.

  10. I think its likely that microbial life on Mars exists, for many reasons.
I think that those who categorically rule it out are just as bad as those who say the Earth is flat, or that the Electric Universe is a thing, or that the Jews have secret mind-control rays that are manipulating the US gov’t. Fcking clowns who couldn’t find their own a$$holes with a map.

  11. I think waaaaay too many people drink too much truth serum at Christmas and forget their manners, a little civility, peace and goodwill goes along way.

    1. So, when somebody says something that is blatant abject stupidity, I shouldn’t call him a fckn retard? Because good will to all mankind? Sorry, pal, some of mankind needs to be fought. Deal with it.

  12. Life was discovered on Mars in 1976. The Labeled Release Experiment proved it, and then NASA set about discrediting the results, as if the experiment didn’t happen or as though its inclusion on Viking was a mistake. Gil Levin deserved the Nobel prize for that result.

    1. And EPA regulation!

You just know that there’s a dedicated little coven of eco-freaks salivating over the prospect of a whole planet to regulate.
