  1. I look forward to watching this, but the subject is defininatively covered by TIK history, which you can find on youtube. He is excellent on the politics and economics of Fascism and Nazism, as well as doing really in depth battle decriptions.

    1. Robert, agreed absolutely. Perhaps the best history channel on Youtube. Very close to TIK is Drachinifel’s naval history channel. Everyone interested in either of these two areas should have both of them bookmarked.

  2. One thing they don’t want you to know is that gun control, public health and environmentalism were pillars of the Nazi program. There’s virtually no difference in what the Nazis said and did than your modern socialists, except the Nazis did it first, and in German.

    1. Agreed. It’s unpleasant, is it not, realizing just how absolutist our supposedly democratic states became during the Covid crisis? It’s as though any excuse would do if it allowed our governing class to start behaving like totalitarians. Few were so egregiously bad as ” the Coward in the Cottage”.

    2. You would show the average NDP or Liberal fan a copy of the NSDAP’s platform and they would all agree that this looks like a good program.

      1. Except for the death camps and travel restrictions, Canada and many other western nations have already implemented many of the social programs Nazi Germany put in place.

But our modern version of the nazis are trying to implement travel restrictions by making private transport unaffordable. And they are taking over a supposedly free media in Canada by government subsidy. And we’ve got lots of antiSemitism emerging on ALL university campuses.

  3. Herr Hitler never rose above lance corporal during WW1, yet he rose to Supreme leader during WW2. Karma is downright weird.

  4. I just got banned from Reddit for saying that National Socialism was a form of socialism. Lefties will fight to their dying breath to deny the truth. They’re largely incapable of shame though, so it’s weird they don’t just lean into it.

    1. How can they? Conventional wisdom is that Adolph Hitler was perhaps the most evil human being in the history of the human race. But what he did was no different than what Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Pol Pot achieved or that Che Guevara tried to do before Fidel Castro got rid of him.

Because of the social stigma, they deny frantically what they are and where their ideas come from. This kind of mental incoherence is all over the place. It’s very easy to find discussions about military affairs where hundreds or thousands claim to admire Germany’s Wehrmacht while also pretending that they were not guilty of outrageous crimes.

Reddit is such a socialist swamp that it’s a badge of honour being banned from it.

      1. Adolph was weak-sauce next to Stalin and Mao. Reddit is filled with liars.

That’s why #Trump won, if you ask me. Everybody knows the Nazis were murderous thugs, and everybody knows they were -nothing- compared to the Commies. But the DemocRats and their little Redditor weenie helpers just keep right on lying.

  5. Hitler was named “Man of the Year” in 1938 by Time Magazine. They noted Hitler’s anti-capitalistic economic policies:

“Most cruel joke of all, however, has been played by Hitler & Co. on those German capitalists and small businessmen who once backed National Socialism as a means of saving Germany’s bourgeois economic structure from radicalism. The Nazi credo that the individual belongs to the state also applies to business. Some businesses have been confiscated outright, on other what amounts to a capital tax has been levied. Profits have been strictly controlled. Some idea of the increasing Governmental control and interference in business could be deduced from the fact that 80% of all building and 50% of all industrial orders in Germany originated last year with the Government. Hard-pressed for food- stuffs as well as funds, the Nazi regime has taken over large estates and in many instances collectivized agriculture, a procedure fundamentally similar to Russian Communism.”

    1. He also took over the banks. Germans could watch their accounts grow, but could only withdraw between 20 and 40 RM per month, depending on the size of their families. The Nazis now had access to all this growing cash.
Jews were forced out of all banking in Germany, but are still blamed for funding the Nazi state.
German farmers could only sell their produce to the state.

  6. Lest we forget this paradox.
The population of pre-war Germany was regarded as highly educated and illiteracy was rare. Education through age 14 was compulsory earlier than the rest of Europe. It’s higher learning institutions were top notch and It’s approach to education was admired and adopted by other countries

  7. Shrug. From the perspective of Hitler’s and Stalin’s victims the evil of the right is indistinguishable from that of the left. The interesting thing to me is the similarities in the gullibility of the masses that ushered both systems in. They either didn’t see (or studiously avoided) the early warning signs of the ugliness to come.

It was the same with turdo. His greed and deceit and inner ugliness were visible long before his coronation.
