  1. Hey, that’s really good stuff, Robert.

At least AI is good for something. I don’t know the breeds well enough to determine how accurate the depictions are, but I’m hoping Kate will drop a line about the accuracy of the AI images.

Mrs. H.R. and I are missing our dogs. We’ve always had a dog since the day we married (48 years this past October). Then, in 2021 we lost our last two, a Scotty and a Cairn terrier. We had two Scotties prior to the Cairn and the 3rd Scotty. Scotties are quite addictive.

We decided to take a break from dogs while snow-birding. We are down to one cat who will be 19-years old in February. In a few years, we’ll stop commuting back and forth to Florida and we are both agreed that we have one more dog left in us.

We’re pretty much settled on an Irish Wolfhound for our last dog. They are not very long-lived, so we should all go out at about the same time.

    1. You might consider a Great Dane as well. I’m told they are less prone to chase than Irish Wolfhounds. We have owned 5 in total, 3 at one time. It is said you don’t step in Great Dane poop – you trip over it. They live 9-10 years at most.

    2. I think people get addicted to breeds because of the bond they form – Because Dogs Are Awesome – more than the actual breed, but that’s just a guess.
There is a young Wolfhound in my neighborhood. Gentle & friendly.
My Bouvier liked him. We had to put her down in August – still broken by that…

    3. My wife and I got a 9 week old Welsh Springer Spaniel this past September. My first dog and I quickly realized they are a lot of work when they are puppies. However, no regrets because he is adorable and very well behaved for a puppy. Life span is 12-15 years.

  2. What did Robert ‘input’ to get this result … that doesn’t illustrate a single woman in the crowd? Oh well … when your latest SCOTUS Justice cannot even define what a woman is … I suppose AI cannot either …

  3. AI images suck.
    Signed,

PS: If you want to see lovely paintings of Kate’s dogs, just look at her paintings.

  4. Actually, the schnauzers are fine.

That weirdly communistic red flag in the left distance sure is odd though.

  5. AI creeps me out how un-natural everything is.
In the first image no one is looking at the dogs and the dogs aren’t looking at any of the people. They’re not even looking at the same thing.
It’s like the two groups are invisible to each other.

    1. That’s because AI is artificial, i.e. not real intelligence, therefore what it produces is also not real.
