In reversing Rakoff’s ruling and opening the way for a new trial, the 2nd Circuit concluded that Rakoff made credibility determinations, weighed evidence, and ignored facts or inferences that a reasonable juror could plausibly find supported Palin’s case.

The appeals court also noted that Rakoff’s mid-deliberations ruling might have reached jurors through alerts delivered to cellphones and thus could “impugn the reliability of that verdict.”

  1. If there ever was a case for an Alex Jones type settlement this should be it right here.
    Sadly, Gabby Giffords and her jag off astronaut hubby aren’t being sued by Palin although they should.
    I’d sue their sorry asses into the next effing Universe.

  2. I’m no Lawyer … but I had literally NEVER heard of a Judge rendering the verdict in the middle of a jury trial and summarily ending the case. What is it with Leftists? Don’t they honor “Democracy” and Fair Trials? Juries of Peers?

    It’s creepily familiar … like an FBI Director saying multiple Laws were broken … but no “reasonable prosecutor” would bring the case. Who? What? Wha, wha, what the HELL is THAT!? Lock HER up … and give Sarah a nice payday.

    1. What Verdict Can You Afford?
      Somewhat like a Special Prosecutor not prosecuting because an obvious criminal was too frail and fuddle-minded to guarantee a guilty verdict.

And now a secret “letter” was found that “PROVES” the boys were being fiddled with … because Jr. High school kids are such good letter-writing correspondents.

        1. A college roommate of mine played tennis with both brothers. Said they were real jerks and witnessed them being verbally abusive to their mother.

          1. All I can say is that confirms my own personal radar about those two … who went on a massive luxury shopping spree literally hours after slaughtering mommy and daddy. I’m sad they haven’t already been MAIDed for their sakes … and ours.
