  1. Well here we go. I thought they’d wait until after the election but considering Dems are in the White House until January 2025 regardless, I guess they figure so what.

  2. It might be time to wave bye bye to the current Iranian regime. They currently hover around 2% GDP with a whopping 34% inflation factor. Most of their current revenue comes from petroleum and natural gas.

So, it’s a pretty good bet Israel is pounding their refineries and drilling stations while telling everyone they are only hitting military targets.

    1. Are Iranian citizens more afraid of the Military or the Police. How much damage to Iran’s infrastructure must there be before the citizenry revolts?

      1. Iranian citizens are like liberals they keep turning the other cheek while supporting their oppressors

    2. So, it’s a pretty good bet Israel is pounding their refineries and drilling stations . . .

I hope not since Iran will have no further incentive to keep the Straight of Hormuz open. That means shortages and expensive gas for just about everyone except the US.

Had a feeling it would kick off tonight so topped my car up. I filled three jerry cans after Iran attacked Israel; I like to get my panic buying in early.

      1. Nope, no oil targets. Biden told Bibi that was verboten, because this would cause some real shit on the oil market and world economy. I can’t believe somebody did something smart.

    3. There’s still a lot of commercial air traffic over the Persian Gulf so I’d be surprised if Israel is hitting Iranian oil infrastructure tonight.

    4. From what I understand, Israel is avoiding the refineries, etc due to US pressure. So something else of value must be getting wiped. Maybe a bunch of moolas.

      1. Yes, some Moolahs. But also the air defence network as that IDF dude mentioned. First phase of an air campaign. The message is that if Iran keeps friggin around, Israel will take away its airspace. Turn it into a hunting ground.

Israel just embarrassed them by using warplanes instead of missiles (think of the logistics of that round trip). The clear implication is that next time it might be the oil refineries.

  3. Considering the Iranians were behind the overwhelming majority of IEDs that maimed/killed thousands of U.S. troops in Iraq, I do hope these Israeli attacks were directed at the same vermin that authorized those attacks.

  4. In a related story … Iran’s religious police began “responding” to Iranian women who dared to wear the niqab in a “fashionable” manner … and not a “modest”, “devoted” manner.

  5. This is an elaborate air strike. Tankers, fighters, drones, the works. When a nation can come over and bomb you at will, it’s not the same as lobbing ballistic missiles and hope they hit something. The Mullahs apparently live segregated from the population at large -gee I wonder why – a couple of well-placed 2000 pound bombs can make them have a come to Jesus moment. It can get personal. Now let’s talk about that F-35 again?

They were targeting air defence network. First phase of an air campaign. Does Iran want to lose control of their air space?
