    Seems reasonable? Let’s prevent any and all construction, starting with reserves. All roads to reserves should be removed so as not to occupy potential burial sites, or sites that may potentially contain traditional items.

    2. And while cutting off the roads, let’s remove all access to gas, diesel, propane, natural gas and electricity. Let us block all TV, radio, cell and satellite signals. No more skidoos, ATVs, outboard motors, guns, ammo or any fishing gear made with or by oil. No more firewater, weed or modern medical care.

      My people need to accelerate our efforts to enable these stewards of the land to return to their cherished pre-contact living conditions.

  3. The Germans overwhelmingly buy the propaganda from their state media. Reason number one billion (likely low) why the CBC should be ended, they are not even good at propaganda, the only reason they exist.

    1. The Germans are good at many things, especially engineering projects and music (think of the greats – Beethoven, Brahms, Wagner…), but critical thinking – not so much. This is why the German population of the 1930’s went “all in” for Hitler plus they were tired of being the “bad guy” for starting World War I.
      To preserve long standing friendships, I avoid talking politics and religion. Nevertheless, certain people have vilified me for being a quiet Christian when they can “prove” that God does not exist and they insist on talking American politics to me and telling me why Trump is evil. I ask them why it matters so much to them as they are not American and they freely admit that what happens in the United States has a “knock-on effect” to Canada. I think the last 9 years of Trudeau’s reign has all been the results of Trudeau’s ineptitude and NOT because of American policies. I could be wrong though.

    In my experience, the Left Coast – from Vancouver down through San Francisco – is full of people just like this. They offer the world a thin veneer of “peace & love and kumbaya”. But just one millimetre beneath that is a seething rage and hatred for anyone that dares disagree with them about ANYTHING.

    One of the comments on the X thread summed things up perfectly: “Ding, Dong, the neighborhood psycho has arrived!”

    They barely got above using chipped rocks for tools. How would they have any ability to “protect the land”?

    2. If the First Nation’s have “been here since the beginning of time” why didn’t the “first people” inform the government that this was an ancient burial site? First people had plenty of opportunity prevent desecration during the planning stage of this building.

  11. Modern public housing … is being specifically built for African and ME “newcomers”. The peoples of those nations mostly identify with simplistic cubist, windowless, masonry blocks. So the host nation must change THEIR housing traditions to … accommodate … their replacement population.
