    1. When it came to wind power
      At the very first hour
      The people of Nantucket
Should have sent it to Nunavut.

    2. Green tax subsidies scammers first wanted to put the bird choppers in Nantucket Sound, a more protected place, surrounded by South shore Cape Cod, Nantucket and lefty Martha’s Vineyard Island. But that’s were Senator Kennedy lived and sailed, which was unappealing.
RFK, jr, now running for President, helped stop a bird chopper project at Storm King, Hudson River, NY for the same reasons.
Massachusetts has shut down nuclear power and worked to limit pipe imports of Natural Gas. So like lefty California has high energy costs, and declining population.
Just off Boston are huge natural gas fields that extend into Canada. The Canadian tap into the northern end of the field, but try to get the Volvo driving blue haired, trust fund Karen’s or their low testosterone wimp mousebands to approve is fruitless.

  2. Nantucket is the playground of the super rich, and the beaches are littered with pulverized turbine blades. Maybe they should have just gone to the Cape instead.

Wonder if the super-liberals there have learned from this?

  3. Has ANYONE done a cost study of the REPAIR cost of these contraptions? My guess is that the cost of repair is GREATER than the original contraption cost. Thus rendering repair cost prohibitive … and the cost of tearing down the broken hulk is too much to write off too … so these will just rust-in-place … a permanent blight on the landscape.

    1. exactly. when one does it aka ‘bankrupt’!!! nya nya we’se gots allllll that tax incentive, allllll that revenue in the form of citizens’ grants. we LIVED LIKE ROYALTY (the new woke royalty, trappings closely resemble the guilded age)and then . . . and then . . . . . . they ALL do it

  4. Any bets? State Govt will pony up for removing all the fibreglass from the beaches, or the Feds?

Even living outside America I’m fairly sure the locals have enough clout to get the beaches pristine on someone else’s money.
