  1. The drug most commonly used to kill victims in Canada is propofol.
    It does not cause the lungs to fill with fluid.

    3. According to one of the documents, the victim gets a dose of Midazolam to put them out, then the IV with Propofol, and Lidocaine to reduce/prevent the “burning in the vein” and then a dose of Rocuronium to make sure the victim is actually dead.

      State executioners seem to like chemical cocktails to perform their acts of mercy, but I wonder about the street junkies who O/D on heroin and are stone dead within a few minutes.
      Is there a simple solution that’s being ignored?

    Sodium thiopental is NOT used in MAID. That’s a myth. The drugs typically used are…

    Midazolam as a sedative.
    Propofol to put the person into a deep coma.
    Rocuronium to stop the heart.

      The issue isn’t what drug they use. They are killing people and there are side effects. Anaesthetic drugs of the type used in MAiD and lethal injection can and do create pulmonary edema–thiopental and propofol included. The only reason they don’t use thiopental is they can’t get it. The only myth is that propofol is somehow kinder and gentler. Studies of lethal injection found a extremely high incidence of pulmonary edema:

      “NPR reviewed more than 200 autopsy reports from executions in nine states between 1990 and 2019. The investigation found evidence of pulmonary edema in 84% of the cases. Pulmonary edema occurs when the lungs fill up with fluid, and it can induce the feeling of suffocation or drowning.”

      The fact that, in Canada, they are refusing to either do or release autopsies for MAiD patients to the patients’ families is very telling.
      But keep on trolling.

Peterson chose the guest, and he is ultimately responsible for the content of HIS show. He now has a moral duty to issue a correction so his viewers are not misinformed.

And civilians. Poor people, crazy people, inconvenient old people.
