  1. It’s all about propaganda directed to the lazy. The idea is to get it out there before it gets proven wrong. By then the damage is done.

  2. Saw a shift change at Walmart the other day. Quite the sight with the jackbooted, machine gun toting guards with the Malinois dogs marching and then chaining the indentured serfs to their assigned work stations

  3. I did my tiny little bit yesterday and added to the community note. In any case, the Jacobin people are vastly overpaid.

  4. The Walmart hate is mostly from unions.

UFCW loves to claim that Walmart doesn’t promote women or minorities.
Have you ever seen a manager at Walmart that didn’t check at least three boxes?

What’s their other big claim?? Unions pay more? BS. By the time you subtract union dues and initiation fees, Walmart comes out ahead.

Ps. Union employees at the grocery store I work at make $12.75/hr. Up from $9.25 before the pandemic. The only people making more than $15 are union reps and management, and the meat cutters, because their union actually does something besides give money to democrats.

  5. Although this data is old, it sort of puts things into perspective….Apple Makes an annual $407,000 Profit Per Employee, Walmart $6,300. The data comes from 2015, however profit per employee remains roughly the same currently. Also, Netflix profit per employee is about $300,000. So the question is…..Who’s The Exploiter?

    Jacobin is Marxist barf.

  6. Beauty. So there’s a lesson for all moralizing idiots too stupid to recognize their own slavery: Learn to stock shelves.

  7. The ability of readers to add context is a great improvement for X. Under the old regime, no prominent criticism of the Jacobins would have been possible.

  8. Anything with the word “Jacobin” in it is a filthy, dishonest pile of commie trash

  9. pfft. lm retired lve seen it all.
there are functions, activities in the economy that at best add infinitesimal value. so mundane and simple not even worth automating it might be an old technology anyway soon to be kicked to the curb.
what is a ‘fair wage’ there?
    and quitcherbytching lefty.
    l ‘paid my dues’ learning to operate huge multi million $ mainframes at . . . . . .

    $1.80 an hour in 1970.

    1. “Kate, tell your censors to f off.”

It’s some kind of filtering program, VOWG….not an actual person deliberately censoring content or ideas that he/she doesn’t like. That’s why you can’t post anything with the word ‘F O R C E’ (or any of its derivatives) in it. I have no idea exactly what is so offensive about this word…I only know that it is not acceptable here, for some reason.

There may be other ‘banned’ words that you are using and I am not.

      Here’s what I do:

      1) Copy your entire post to your clipboard before hitting ‘Post Comment’ (if you forget, just hit the back arrow/button and retrieve it from there).

      2) If the post shows up as held for editing, all is well. If it immediately *disappears*, though, use the clipboard to paste it back.

      3) Delete one paragraph (or line, depending on the size of the post) at a time and re-post. When you find the right line, delete one word at a time until you find the exact culprit.

      4) When you hit the correct word, the post will no longer vanish immediately but appear as being held for editing (5 minutes?). Use the ‘edit’ function to substitute a different word.

I know, this is annoying and takes time…but please let us all know if there are any other ‘banned’ words so that someone might be able to fix this problem at some point.

      1. Hi Fred. Nothing I have to say is usually worth any more effort than just one click.

  10. If WalMart increased their wages 10% … and of course their food prices too … the people hardest hit would be those who just received a 10% wage increase which is disproportionately impacting the lowest wage workers. TANSTAAFL … every dollar is intertwined with every other dollar. Period. Econ. 101 … at least the way it was originally taught

  11. Jacobin. Isn’t that Diddy Comb’s social media handler? The rumors start here…

  12. So what do other retail workers get paid. I imagine that it’s about the same.

  13. I suppose the reason communist organizations such as Jacobin only attack America corporations is they might make enemies of their fellows in China. There are multiple corporations based in China who pay far less than Yankee corps and treat their employees a hell of a lot worse, but they’re never the target of Jacobin, are they?

Alibaba for instance has $130 billion annually in sales.

On the Fortune 500 list, 145 corporations listed are Chinese. I’m sure all pay Union wages and peace and harmony reigns in their organizations.

  14. Sure.. Inflation is a green light to add a few % points on the top and blame the government.. Do it once, twice, thrice :).. Next thing you know you have never made so much money and its all Trudeau’s fault..

If everybody else goes out of business.. So be it..

  15. 250 words per hour? What are they? Asleep? I can do 500 words per hour half in the bag and still make more sense than those mooks.

  16. Walmart doesn’t really care about wages, appearances or the voice of the whining pleebs.

Walmarts are actually set up as FEMA/Military command centers in times of National crisis or war time measures. They conduct their business as goods flowthru depots to ensure goods and supplies are able to be moved with order and precision when the time comes.

I have heard this from those in the know, you will have to look this up yourselves as I am working and can’t afford the time to recover the info.

    FYI.
