  2. I didn’t have a problem with women as they are.

    The koran preaches female mutilation as a rite of passage. Hideous and I have no such belief that God wants any such thing.

    It might be ok for starting fires.

    1. Why would you expect them to? They don’t care if all of them die, just as long as they can protest the “oppressor” while not recognizing that hamas is the oppressor (and violating the rules of war, circa 1949).

  5. Jama is not a palestinian or an arab, so she is doing it as a specific political act, or as an act of cultural appropriation, and the first immigrants are standing in solidarity with the barbarians.

  6. “Colonialism” lead to the advancement of the human race. It pulled a lot of people out of a primitive nomadic hunter gatherer lifestyle. It advanced scientific, technical and cultural contributions to the planet.

    If it weren’t for colonialism, Jama wouldn’t be here, she wouldn’t have a wheelchair to zoom around in, and she’d probably have been killed by her tribe because she’d be viewed as useless to them since they’d have to waste resources dragging her around, she doesn’t have operating legs to walk on – she’s a liability to the tribe. They wouldn’t use her for breeding b/c she wouldn’t be able to take care of her own children. She wouldn’t be able to go pick berries, or hang up the washing to dry because she wouldn’t have a wheelchair to zoom around on.

    When will people stop blaming “colonialism”? They couldn’t even define it if you asked them. It’s just cover for anti-white racism, plan and simple.

  7. Does anyone on this site have anything to do with SPORTS? The Leafs played the worst game in Canada’s history!
    They sucked—-terrible coaching and the top 4 looked like ballot dancers!———F —As a Leaf fan all my life I”m done! There’s not enough swear words to describe their pathetic lack of performance! F_F_

      1. I was sure, that with all the Leafs cheerleading by Craig Simpson and Chris Cuthbert, the Leafs would pull it out for sure !!!
        My Gawd Cuthbert is miles from being a “Bob Cole” quality play-by-play announcer,,, his herky-jerky sound, stopping in mid sentence, as though he’s having a stroke, the voice constantly going up and down too extensively, (like up and down 3 times while saying the word ” in ”
        I can’t even listen to him, compared to the other Canadian game being showing.
        Cuthbert is brutal.

      What took you so long? Lifetime fan as well, old enough to remember I was eating Hostess salt & vinegar chips and drinking Canada Dry ginger ale while watching on a black & white in 1967.
      The league has been pushing me away for years with stupid rule changes and horrible officiating, then the COVID years and now I don’t give a fig.

          The last 8 or 9 years being considerably more fun than the previous 48. Except playoffs.
          Sans maybe 92-94 and 2002-2004.

          1. Matthews had food poisoning past 2 games. Exceedingly obvious.
          2. Nylander hadn’t missed a game in 7 years. Missed first 3 games with migraines. Obvious drop in play last nite.
          3. Marner, by stats and eye test still not recovered from recent high ankle sprain.
          4. Second line left winger McCann has missed all playoffs so far.
          5.Backup goalie Woll obviously not fully back from his recent high ankle sprain.

          Lest you think injuries are common, they are, but:
          1.2021-Captain Tavares out of playoffs in Game 1 vs Mtl.
          2.2021 -Foligno out with bad back(had traded 1st round pick)
          3.2019- Kadri. Again!!
          4.2018- 2nd line center Kadri suspended for playoffs.
          5.2013.-You’re up 4-1 in game 7 over Boston with 5 minutes left in the game. And lose.
          6.2003-The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Philadelphia Flyers in the opener of their first-round playoff series, but they lost center Nik Antropov and forward Darcy Tucker in the process.The Leafs were without centers Doug Gilmour (knee) and Travis Green (ribs) and defenseman Glen Wesley (ankle) for Game 1.

            Toronto doesn’t need a cup, neither does Edmonton. Probably 2 of the best towns to play in.

        1. I don’t play games. As a child I played softball in the summer and loved playing hockey for a few years, but wasn’t good enough to go for long. Never found much entertainment in watching. I don’t think it at all wrong that people enjoy watching, but I cannot see why they should be so affected.

  11. Yes, yet another contact with history by yours truly.
    I’ve known Jamie-Lee Ratray (and her dad) from her PWHL (no, not THAT PWHL, but the Provincial Women’s Hockey League based in Ontario) days playing for the Lady Sens based in Ottawa. I stayed involved with the Lady Sens all that time, even after Jamie-Lee moved on. We were Re-united when I worked the IIHF Women’s Hockey championships in Kamloops back in 2016, when JL played for team Canada. I was working the clock and Jamie Lee took a penalty, and that’s when we took the occasion to catch up on old times back in Ottawa. After the game, I got together with her dad who was also at the game. I guess I should have known, because that lady Sens team was the same team that Luc Richardson’s kid played on, then later committed suicide, spawning the “Do It For Darryn” campaign for mental health.
    Jamie-Lee is a good kid, but I never figured she would turn into such an activist which is why I am so disappointed when I read that she was an ambassador for this pro-LGBTXYZ+++ alliance, but then, maybe I should have realized given our history.
    If I were to run into Jamie-Lee today, I would ask her point blank how she would feel about competing against biological males playing in the PWHL (the so-called Professional Women’s Hockey League).

    She is amazing. Brave and well spoken. She hit the nail on the head.
    What I want to know is how many sheep watching that women’s hockey obediently said the pledge?
