  1. As an aside, saw that clip over a year ago, and yes, I know how popular that song is at USC.
But my tip for tonight is this….

Now is the time we juxtapose…
Lawyer prosecuting Saskatchewan father accused (and found guilty) of abduction for protecting his daughter from the vax:
“You can’t have the motive to do ‘A’ without the intent to do ‘B.’
(The judge in the case instructed the jury to ignore motive, and determine guilt or innocence based on the facts of the case.)

Lawyer defending Umar Zameer accused (and acquited) of killing Det-Const. Jeffrey Northrup, a Toronto cop, by running him over with his vehicle — several times:
“You cannot commit a criminal act if you don’t have a criminal mind!”

Can anyone still dispute what has now become a well-known fact that our “justice” system is corrupt, and befuddled with double-standards, depending on your political viewpoint?

    1. Apparently the police lied in Zameer case as was proven by cameras in the parking area.

      1. All the more reason not to charge him with 1st degree murder. Police lie, and Zameer killed a cop.

      2. It wasn’t my intention to criticize the verdict. My comment was aimed at what the respective lawyers were saying about how they each represented and defined the law.

And yet, despite the verdict, it is a statement of fact that Zameer ran over Const Northrup several times. What was in dispute is how the cops were defining the circumstances of why he was run over.

Northrup died that night. That is not in dispute. If he hadn’t, we would have never had a trial to begin with.

      3. “Apparently the police lied in Zameer case as was proven by cameras in the parking area.”

They did, and they did so in concert and with a pre-arranged story. They now need to be suspended and charged with perjury. No other response is acceptable.

  2. I was waiting to hear Fleetwood Mac sing “UCLA sucks” but it never happened

  3. Well Robert … my dearly beloved only brother and I were poor audiophiles in the late 70’s and early 80’s until his untimely death in 1982 at the age of 27. At the time we were buying top quality vinyl sold exclusively at high end audio shops … Mobile Fidelity and the like. I still remember when Tusk came out … and the salesman at the local audiophile shop was beside himself at the sonics and songs of Tusk. I still have that original lp bought with my very last penny.

In the interim I have been able to indulge my hobby well past the poor-audiophile stage. And I have still always considered the Tusk lp to … far and away … be Fleetwood Mac’s BEST. Yes, I know it wasn’t the commercial success of the prior two FM records … but those who know music … know Tusk was the zenith of their powers. You can imagine how excited I was when FM issued the Alternate Tusk on a RSD (Record Store Day) issue. As a connoisseur of Tusk … all I can say is that it is BETTER than the original as it is a stripped-down “naked” version of the original. Very little overdubbing and instrumentation. It plays like the singer-songwriter talent that FM really were.

Probably my favorite cut is “Storms” … which is stripped down to nothing more than a fingerpicking LB on guitar and a raw vocal by SN. Just SN … literally singing her pain to the man who gave her that pain … as he gives musical flesh to the aching bones of her words. You can hear the cry in her voice. It was recorded in Lindsay’s LA mansion … in his private studio (it’s good to be a rich rock star)

      1. Sarah was a song by SN about the baby that she aborted.
I liked FM music, but the more I learned about the band, the more I cringed at what I found out was really going on behind the scenes.

      2. When Sarah was on the radio airwaves (one of only two cuts from the lp to get any radio love) a close friend of mine had just given birth to their 4th child … something of a “surprise birth” … 12 years after the birth of their 3rd son. And it was a Girl! They named her Sarah. Because of the song? Perhaps … but they were over the moon to finally have a daughter. Yeah, mom was in her 40’s … but both mom and daughter were perfectly healthy.

    1. I also remember when Tusk first came out. What I remember the most was how it was panned by the music reviewers. Possibly one of the reasons why it wasn’t as successful as previous FM albums. I’m on the fence as far as Tusk is concerned. I still have the LP, and I still listen to it from time to time.

(btw… the reason that Tusk is so popular at USC was because it was the USC marching band that was featured in the original recording, and I believe it was that song that earned a name for the marching band)

    1. They should make “Tusk” the national anthem of Poland. Well, no, they shouldn’t, but they might anyway.

    1. How on Earth can you justifiably retroactively revoke a security clearance – unless you were out to get someone?

    1. And what did that fat entrenched Federal bureaucrat slug, Barr do about it? For starters … he could have HONESTLY investigate all the election fraud … and perhaps we would have a POTUS who wasn’t entirely beholden to the Communist Chinese?

  4. Just a few days after Flinny from 20000 BC declared “the Western aid for Ukraine will soon dry out”, the US House approved a 60+ billion aid package and now this – [UK] Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will announce the largest-ever military aid package to Ukraine on his visit to Poland.

If I were a schweinie-lover, I’d definitely want Flinny to say “Ukraine will soon win the war”; unfortunately for schweinie-lovers here, he already predicted the opposite.

      1. It’s just a massive theft, right in front of our eyes. Remember the pallet loads of cash Obama flew to Iran? same thing.

        1. Nonsense, it is money well spent, the returns to the civilized for having russia neutered are huge.

  5. A good example of the Ruϟϟischeschweinen attitude, because of which the Russians, as I have already said, are best thought of as pigs that fancy themselves humans (as it makes it easier to explain why they do what they do).

Kaliningrad governor Alikhanov claims Immanuel Kant (on his 300th birthday!) is a “Russian trophy” amidst a “cognitive war.”: https://twitter.com/mediazona_en/status/1782427721777193194

Basically, because Immanuel Kant lived in Koenigsberg and the Soviets conquered it a few hundred years after, the Ruϟϟische Schweine now claim Kant for thei own. I’m sure the schweinie-lovers here will be happy to give them a lot more than just Kant’s legacy, though.

    1. C++ and surfer unDORKs

66 billion f that 113 billion aid bucks was NOT USED for military hard ware, so were did it go?
U2 AZZholes are wrong only 110% of the time!

      1. I see you are trying to say something. Sorry I don’t speak retard. Perhaps you should ask a nice nurse to type that statement for you?
