  1. ‘new Iranian threat’?
    Getting more of Russia’s left overs is nothing to brag to the neighbours about.
    Their newest aircraft they can’t field, due to their inability to get the materials to build it; their missile technology all predates the current Russian state. They haven’t trained a fully qualified engineer in 30 years.
    But I guess their marketing machine is still well oiled.
    On the upside, it is cheap and plentiful, this might help it fit to Iran’s need for suicide machines.

You do know that if the state wants you to look bad they can do it. Here in Alberta we have the Coutts 4. What did they do? Well they happened to be close to the blockade that embarrassed Trudeau.     3. Iran just gave Israel a kick in the groin that has shown Israel is less than the all powerful/God ordained state it has always falsely claimed to be. Iran hit the targets it aimed at and in the process exposed the locations of the Iron Dome sites. A few well aimed ballistic missiles and the Iron Dome will be a pile of rubble. What does Israel do next? It is losing in Gaza. It is trying to start a war in Lebanon where it lost last time and now Iran just took out $1.3 billion worth of Israeli defence missiles and still hit its targets so effectively Israel won’t allow pictures to be taken.

The simple fact that the missiles from Iran got through the much vaunted Iron Dome is enough to warn Israel that it is not nearly as safe as it likes to think it is. $1.3 Billion to shoot down a bunch of drones that cost a couple of thousand each to build? Not a good trade. Iran has lots more drones. Does Israel have lots of its high tech missiles left? Israel is in a world of hurt right now. Only idiots like David Cameron are supporting it.

            The facts that Iran telegraphed their ‘attack’ well beforehand, sent very slow drones through airspace where they *knew* those drones would be shot down and made very sure *not* to kill any IDF soldiers or Israeli citizens (much like their ‘retaliation’ for the US killing of Soleimani) should be telling you how TERRIFIED they are of the Israelis calling their bluff and retaliating with a missile barrage of their own.

        1. Israel has withdrawn most of its army from Gaza and was had to abandon one of its forays into Northern Gaza thanks to intense fire from Gazans. About the only thing Israel is still doing is starving Gazan civilians which believe it or not is a war crime. Bibi is scared spitless. His masters won’t let him off the hook and he will go down in history as the PM that greatly diminished Israel and its stature in the world.

          4. Not supporting Israel is not Jew hatred. I don’t support the Communists in Russia 40 years ago but have no problem with the many Russians I know. I don’t support Ukraine in the present war but I do support several Ukrainian families settling in Canada. I don’t support Zionism but I often go to a Jewish Church that meets down the street from me. One final thing I grew up in the early 60s when WWII was still fresh in people’s minds. No one blamed the Germans I knew for what the Nazis had done. You really have to get out of your black and white thinking. Zionism is not Judaism and Judaism is not Zionism. I was shocked to learn that Orthodox Judaism does not support Zionism. Orthodox Judaism holds that Israel must be re-established by the Messiah and not by political means. Zionism believes in political means.

    While I’m not advocating, it’s pretty obvious that everyone on the side of Iran’s theocracy needs to be culled like a rabid animal so the Iranian people can be freed.
