  1. “Man I hate the people of this country.”
Bit of a sweeping statement, I think.
At least exempt from your vituperation those people who voted for the Conservative Party of Canada, and a select few others…your choice.

    1. Sweeping and based on decades of observation. You know nothing about me or why my dislike is so “sweeping”. If you had read any of my posts since the net was first started, you would know just how conservative I was and am. Todays crop of toadies are liberal lite. There are very few I am willing to exempt.

  2. “Socialist Edmonton might license sale of knives.”

Licensing a sharpened piece of metal that can be found in any scrapyard seems wasteful, no?

To bad they don’t put as much effort into eliminating things like Fentanyl which causes far more destruction in Liberal cities than common eating implements.

Careful Edmonton, your “youth” may one day figure out that a lawnmower replacement blade from Canadian Tire is more dangerous than a cheap gas station pocket knife.

    1. If Alberta ever separated, Edmonton and Calgary would have to be carved out and made into exclaves.

      1. When, not if, Alberta separates,(taking Saskatchewan and part of B.C. with it) every liberal and leftist will have to leave.

        1. Funny thing that.
          Shut down welfare.
          Reduce “Government Help” minions numbers.
And the Clingons of our Urban Idiocracy Empty themselves…”Free Stuff”
if we also threaten their pensions, they will all depart for Better Pickins.
Which a Separate West will no longer be.
All future Parasites can be directed to Better Pickins before they enter.

      2. F. Scott Fitzgerald had a cousin who grew up in an isolated neighbourhood. His name was N. Clave Fitzgerald.

  3. Better idea. Make prison a place where you don’t want to go and start locking the violent criminals up, for a long time.

    1. Ohhhhhhh mommmmaaaaa … you’re so mean spirited. You sound like a bully. Don’t you believe in second chances? … these are just a few of the squishy-headed, touchy-feely responses you would get from your more compassionate 83% leftist fellow citizens of Canada. And about 97.5% of Canada’s … *ahem* … newcomers

  4. So the US has warned Israel not to counter strike.
It would appear that O’Bungles through his useful idiot mouth piece Biden has finally come out as moslem. Their standard “if you don’t let me kill you I’m going to kill you”

  5. Licensing knives didn’t work in England. The online harm’s act is an attempt by the liberals to silence those who oppose their regime’s agenda, they want to lock up those of us who refuse to submit to their tyranny.

    1. Every time you add a law, new technology is hampered as it’s now illegal to make something better without getting arrested.
Here’s an example as technology changes and products available today can’t be researched or used.
Problem animals that are thriving that takes a great deal of resources to catch or kill when technology changes have allowed snare wire to be much thicker and can now be used for animal control.
Except it’s illegal to even think about such a simple solution as no one is qualified.
Also you don’t want people to get the idea of free food with a simple device that didn’t exist before.

  6. Soooooooooo the news is claiming the hamas death numbers are wrong.
    Color me surprised.

  7. My big fat, made in China, Bowie knife was about 20 bucks on Amazon. After seeing a cougar bigger than I was, I decided I needed an equalizer when piddling around outside. First choice is a .357 Magnum but I don’t like the 3 year minimum for being loaded for bear, with a sidearm, off the range.

    1. Far better for carrying in the bush would be a Mossberg Shockwave extra-short barrel shotgun in 12 gauge loaded with buckshot.
With a daytime visible green laser sight and a forward carry sling for instant deployment,it’s the cats meow.
I of course cheaped out and bought the Charles Daly “Honcho” model but it’s the same shotgun only less money

  8. Re Iran’s attack; it and Biden’s crew may have decided it was one-and-done but I seriously doubt that Israel will simply sit back and not respond.
At a guess Israel will likely want to prove they can ‘reach out and touch someone’ with deadly accuracy.

  9. My guess is the knife problem in Redmonton is actually a “new” Canadian problem.

At work a few years back I had my Swiss Army multi-tool in my pocket and put it in the bin with my wallet, keys and change before going through the scan into a secured area.
One RCMP turnip said “You can’t bring that in.”
I hefted my Estwing hammer still in its holster on my belt and said, “Well I’m bringing this in.”
    The other cops laughed.

    1. Was that a 28oz framing hammer with crosshatched face? That’ll leave a mark … oh … and the hatchet model is even scarier

  10. Re. Trudeau’s own law would facilitate prosecution against him:
Another one of his infamous statements: “A decision needs to be made; do we tolerate these people?” Sounds like a rhetorical question, and the assumed answer is – “We need to make a decision not to tolerate these people or allow them to take up space.”
Under the new law (if passed) that would probably qualify for prosecution.
And any person who feels targeted by his statements could bring the case, and stand to make $20K in the process.
Of course, I am not suggesting anybody do that…..

    1. Oh come on. Like the HRC prosecutions, you know full well that their racists will never be so much as inconvenienced by the laws.

    2. Before reading your suggestion I was already afraid I may at some point in the future be harmed by PM Castreau saying something hateful to me or about me.

    1. I bet Sydney, Australia, wishes they had done this so that the unnamed, though under police observation, non-religious mentally ill person, couldn’t go on a personal Jihad, er, weapony knife anti-social behaviour thingy.

  11. Carrying a knife for self defence against humans is already illegal. Carrying a knife must have an occupational or practical reason as a tool. Cops and courts could just do their jobs.
