  1. L- Pontius Pilate speaking with Joseph of Arimathea: “I don’t understand, Joseph.” I know you’re wealthy and that you’ve spent a small fortune carving out your tomb. Why would you put a total stranger in it?”

Joseph: “It’s just for the weekend.”

    1. Good one, Larry. It’s a bit of humor that reminds us of the significance of Easter and the events leading up to it.

    1. “The CBC likes effeminate men and boys:

CBC News say men do NOT have a competitive advantage over women in sports!”

Notice how the CBC has now seemingly removed the ability to comment on all their stories? Too many of their propaganda pieces were being discredited and too many inconvenient facts being exposed.

  2. The Wall Street Journal continues to warn of an impending electricity crisis.

“President Biden and the press keep raising alarms about a climate crisis that his policies can’t do much about. Yet in the meantime they’re ignoring how government climate policies are contributing to a looming electric-grid crisis that is more urgent and could be avoided.”

“These pages [WSJ] have been warning for years about an electric-power shortage. And now grid regulators and utilities are ramping up warnings. Projections for U.S. electricity demand growth over the next five years have doubled from a year ago. The major culprits: New artificial-intelligence data centers, federally subsidized manufacturing plants, and the government-driven electric-vehicle transition.”

  3. Closely related to the Minsky Moment post above. When the U.S. Fed and other central banks increased their respective money eupplies at ridiculous rates, asset prices (finance and real estate) have been skyrocketing. This has increased the huge wealth, income gaps:

Being the Trump supporter that I am, I do chafe at the uber-rich elites raking in the huge capital gains during the stock market frenzy. Trump supporters are the declining middle- and working classes. I am a retired economics professor and have done well in the stock markets and real estate. (Real estate is cheap out here in New Brunswick, so once one buys in, there’s lots to enjoy). Having said that, the working classes here are hurting badly. Btw, food, rent and gasoline prices will keep rising this spring and summer.
