While homosexual is now a term you must avoid using, GLAAD wants you to be familiar with a whole bunch of made-up terms, like allosexual, gynesexual, and pansexual. I don’t know what any of those mean. I don’t care and won’t even bother sharing their definitions with you because I most certainly won’t legitimize this nonsense by learning them.

There’s also a term in the glossary called Same-Gender Loving.

I won’t bother with that one, either.

  3. It is an attempt in a secular society, which denies the worth of the individual, to claim special status. Christianity does not have this problem (Christians have lots of problems but not this one) because all individuals are made in the image of God (as warped as we are), and each is of infinite worth (even Justin). These new categories are a cry for help, to find meaning when your belief system tells you that you have none, that you are just chemicals bound together in a matrix.

    Now the word is emblazoned proudly everywhere.
    I believe the queers (geebus how I childishly enjoy using that word now) have embraced the word ironically.
    So, to be onside the crazies at Gladd can we adopt a now verboten word or phrase and speak it ironically.

  10. Pretty sure the people who run GLAAD now consider themselves neither Gays or Lesbians. They probably call themselves Queers, which no longer means same sex attracted. The Ts and the Qs in the LGBTQ world are mostly radical, social-marxists who are as offended by homosexuality as they are heterosexuality. In fact, they’ve coined the term homo-normative to complement hetero-normative to describe people who are comfortable with themselves, their sexuality and their place in the world. The Ts and Qs are about discomfort and disruption and want to bring on the revolution. James Lindsay has a lot of interesting things to say about this.
