    1. The Nuclear Henry Ford Moment

…Consider how strong the global political commitment to Energy Transition has become. The will to solve climate change and reduce dependence on fossil fuels is so strong that we’ve already spent $4.6 trillion dollars in the last two decades alone on renewable energy:

Yet even after 25 years of heavy government subsidy, Wind and Solar combined still only supply about 3% of global energy demand! Clearly, Wind and Solar alone aren’t going to solve this problem, and adding batteries won’t change that reality. To fully replace the energy we derive from fossil fuels today, this planet urgently needs to build about 9,000 GW of clean electric generation capacity. The $4.6tn already spent on renewables (primarily, Wind and Solar) evidences that the will to solve this problem is more than strong enough to warrant investment on an unprecedented scale…

  1. It is from the garbage Hindustan Times. Looks like the video from few weeks ago with russians executing Ukrainians, just a mirror.

    1. Hindustan Times >> Reddit, CBC, CTV, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Global, BBC…

Also, what’s with the asterixis in your handle? Someone work your Colon a little too hard?

    1. Bunny, after his drooling state of the union address this Thursday Barak Obama and his well-moneyed backers will replace Biden with Kamala Harris. I can’t see Biden campaigning this fall. The Democratic party will spread lots of money around to ensure a Harris win. The ruling oligargh elites will not stand for a Trump victory.

      1. If I remember correctly he didn’t do much campaigning last time either. Hid in his basement, COVID or something.

Might be their secret, keep him out of the limelight.

        1. I wonder if Google AI will go into overdrive this election?

Google AI might show a fully functioning Joe Biden debating a bumbling demented Donald Trump.

And you’ll get a clip with every YouTube video

    1. Sure is a good think R O I is not required when dealing with wind turbine and solar panel power production.

  2. Then Minister of Public (Un)Safety Marco Mendicino know that notorious murderer Luka Magotta had been transferred from a maximum security prison to a medium security prison:

Mr. Magnotta murdered an international university student, dismembered his body, znd mailed parts of it to various political parties and schools. The Trudeau government kept the transfer secret until the Toronto Sun exposed it a few days ago.

    1. What?! I thought she’d stay in until the convention, just to bleed resources from the Trump campaign.

    1. damn right it is.
its that elephant in the room again, the debt.
185 years to rack up the 1st trillion (Reagan tax cuts increased mil spending did it)
aaaaand 2 months or whatever to tack on the most recent trillion.

      aka tick tick tick
or perhaps slightly more accurate tack tack tack

    2. Interesting map, David.

The low seems to be Iowa with 13% delinquent, and the high is Mississippi with 39% delinquent. I’m not motivated enough to go through and work out the average rate. But it would be interesting to see how the current average delinquency rate compares to the average rate of say, 5 years ago.

  3. Social sensors – X Users Didn’t Like a Paper’s Tone and Findings, So They Got It Rejected,

“It garnered this attention for its intriguing yet simultaneously obvious finding: over the past 80 years, as a far greater proportion of North Americans attended college, the average IQ of college undergraduates dropped from around 120 to 102, just slightly above the average of 100.”

  4. Ha, ha, ha. Thats just like Trudeau Sr. parading around a Montreal Jewish neighborhood in a Na*i uniform. Just when you thought Canadians could go no lower. Oh well, there just is no telling what some people will do to get attention.
