Guilbeault calls Saskatchewan premier ‘immoral’ for breaking carbon-price law.
Estevan MLA Lori Carr tries to show a difference between Sask Party and NDP on carbon tax in statement.
That statement was referenced in the exchange between Scott Moe and Carla Beck in Question Period on the federal carbon tax. The NDP thinks Saskatchewan should have negotiated a carve-out deal.
The only immoral person in this is Guilbeault. He is pure evil. Period.
Unjust laws should be broken. A tax revolt is a classic, peaceful way to protest against the ruling class. In a functioning democracy, it brings needed attention to a political problem and, ideally, results in debate and negotiations to resolve the issue.
Unfortunately, Canada under the Trudeau government does not function like a democracy because they seem to believe they are an aristocracy that produces royal edicts that must be followed without question by the peasants in the hinterlands. Now Guillbeault seems to think that they are not merely royalty but have a god given right to impose their will and anyone who opposes the Liberal government’s edicts are “immoral”. The Liberal have become Thomas Sowell’s book “The Vision of the Anointed” personified.
The arrogance, narcissism, delusions of grandeur and overt corruption of the Trudeau Liberal-NDP government has become both shocking and darkly comical at this point.
Given what we witnessed from Late Dec 2019 to date…? I don’t think we can be nice and call this Trudeau Govt an Aristocracy. In form perhaps, but their operative methodology / Ideology is Akin to in yer Face NAZIism.

As far as Beck and the NDP are concerned – They’re liars. The only party in Canada where a membership at the Provincial level automatically shoes you in at the Federal level.

Why does Beck keep insisting that the Premier negotiate a deal with the feds? Has she not been paying attention or is she simply stupid? My vote is for the latter. Standing up for Saskatchewan and rejecting a useless and harmful tax is not “picking a fight”. Obviously Beck is simply attempting to cast the Sask Party in a bad light in a vain attempt to garner some much needed votes. Newsflash Carla ….. Saskatchewan people are not stupid.
