Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I’ve followed Barnes and VivaFrei with there little updates on this case in the last few months. It is looking to be a lot bigger than anyone knows. Just one more small step toward the ‘unintended consequence’ of mass starvation or mass murder.
How long until the state says that stuff grown in your home garden is illegal?
already illegal in some states to use rainwater
There have been attempts in year’s past to stop home gardening.

They can take my rototiller when they pry it from my cold, dead hands!
Let them come to my apartment where I grow tomatoes on my balcony….
“They” call all GF themselves.
Genocidal NAZI Filth.
In the US as well in Canada
We don’t grow plants. We rehabilitate seeds. Should be some funding for that.
Well here ya go.

There will always be an ‘expert’ to tell you that something you are doing is harmful. This article espouses the idea that small scale agriculture, a garden plot, is environmentally irresponsible. I remember a few years ago, when Dr Fruit Fly was singing the praises of small scale primitive agriculture as our environmental saviour. His claims were of course ludicrous as are these.
They don’t know how to be happy, and can’t stand to see others happy!
You cut right to the heart of it with that comment. Misery is the currency they most value.
Bloody wrong and bloody stupid.
Right on the heels of the USDA calling for the voluntary registration of people’s home vegetable garden. No, not creepy in the least bit.

I had it in my mind it was a fake news story. Would that it were so.
These people, with their totalitarian authority dreams should be served. Perhaps with a local homebrew and a side of fried green tomatoes.
Served to the hogs.
Robert Pickton was simply a man ahead of his time.
Ha! Yes he was. He was operating on the wrong constituency though!
Amen! AFTER we first crucify them legit, so we can settle the question of cause of death by crucifixion once and for all!
Trust the science!!! And they get to make a FANTASTIC contribution to medical science on their way out!
Great movie.
One way to get rid of evil people.
Not that I would endorse that activity.
So, I can grow weed in the backyard but not a tomato?
Okay then.
I never seem to have a problem growing ‘weed’; tomatoes are a lot more work. Weed just happens w/o any effort. Sort of like socialism?
I’ll be happy when Safeway is no longer allowed to repackage their spoiled meat by reversing the brown side down in a new package …
… or sell any more pre-rotted vegetables.
