CENTCOM Statement on U.S. Strikes in Iraq and Syria

At 4:00 p.m. (EST) Feb. 02, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted airstrikes in Iraq and Syria against Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force and affiliated militia groups. U.S. military forces struck more than 85 targets, with numerous aircraft to include long-range bombers flown from United States. The airstrikes employed more than 125 precision munitions. The facilities that were struck included command and control operations centers, intelligence centers, rockets, and missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicle storages, and logistics and munition supply chain facilities of militia groups and their IRGC sponsors who facilitated attacks against U.S. and Coalition forces.

    1. Short version:
“After one week of warnings to Iran to get their personnel out all that was left were 6 camels and 4 donkeys and we used $370,000,000 worth of munitions, missiles and flight costs but we got every last one of them.”

  1. Hmmm ? I thought WE were in control of the “newly democratized” Iraq? Didn’t Neocon, globalist, UniPartier George Bush Accomplish that Mission? So why are we bombing ourselves? And of course Syrian STRONGMAN Bashar al-Assad … is a bad guy … like Putin is a bad guy … so he’s fair game, eh?

But we aren’t touching Obama/Biden’s ally Iran.

Makes me proud to see the Palestinian flags waving from my local overpass today. Ceasefire NOW!! Give more $$$$ to Iran NOW !!!

    1. Considering what they’ve given to Ukraine and the total cratering of western military production, they are almost there.

All of which were announced prior to the operation to allow evacuation of personnel and materiel. They were played off as unauthorized leaks. But, that’s a stretch. CENTCOM these days is an absolute joke. Back in April of last year confidential attack and defense intelligence from Ukraine found itself in bulk on Twitter. Gotta love those diversity and equity hires at the Pentagon.

    1. With satellite and aerial surveillance moving missiles, ammunition, etc. can be detected.

      Did this happen?

      Too early to tell.

  3. Yes, but did they actually hit anything? I’m sure even the camels were moved, they had enough warning.

  4. I am glad the aircraft and crews all made it safely back to their bases.

Who wants to be the first person to die for a “Demonstrate the determination of the American President by hitting a bunch of evacuated targets.” Because the Democrats made sure that Iran knew they were coming. Hell, they even told Politico what they were going to attack.

If Iran doesn’t respond to these attacks? You will know it’s all kayfabe.

  5. After the strike on the abandoned bases, how much materiel will Brandon leave behind for the Iranians?

  6. All for show. The way to send a real message (apart from, you know, actually sending an actual message via embassies) would be to do just what Trump did. A small strike to decapitate some of the leadership ordering these attacks. The Iranian regime is not very solid right now. I read somewhere that the Mullahs live in segregated enclaves for their own protection. Nice targets.

  7. Boy things are getting pretty serious, do ya think turdeau will move our submarines to the Red Sea?? I heard a rumour the navy were welding oar-locks on the hulls and issued a Request for Quotation for extra long oars.

      1. The budget will not extend to such extravagance. Funds were used to install tampon machines on the submarines.

        1. The contracts to do that have not yet been awarded.

The Liberals are still waiting for the consultants report on how to do this.

Then SNC has to come up with a new tampon dispenser design.

  8. Operation Limp Dick.. I can hardly wait for the video game.. But I do agree that this distraction is 1000% better than another pandemic..
