Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

About Freeland Carlson said: “No amount of evidence of her stupidity and wrong decisions and idiotic views could dissuade her from the core belief that she was awesome, and you were not.”
Good line to help start the day.
Why is Queerdeau at a women’s hockey game?
To get votes and Stupid Wine Hags Everywhere will do just that.
The fact that he claps like a spaz will be lost on them in their purple haze of shitty shiraz.
Liberal voters are mental defectives.
^ he claps like a retard. Did you see that girl who was beside him react to the clap. What a fuggin dork….has he been to any sporting event before at any level? Buddy, look around and blend in you doofus. Even for a retard like him it shouldn’t be that hard.
What an idiot.
He claps like someone having a barely controlled tantrum.
‘will be lost on them in their purple haze of shitty shiraz.’
…thanks for the first good laugh of the day !
I bet he’s wearing hockey pants, a cup, elbow pads and skates.
Mr.Dressup just gotta dressup.
A very very long time ago whin I was 12 years old my first girlfriend, my first kiss, my first touch of boob, decided that she liked another boy better. I wanted to die. I’m sure glad Justine wasn’t around then. Been married for 54 years now and no my wife wasn’t my second girlfriend.
So, they want to search a cemetery for bodies?
The article also says that nobody knew there was a residential school there because
A) it closed 92 years ago.
B) the buildings have been gone 70 years
C) the people who went there didn’t want to talk about it so the memories are not passed down.
What about all this “generational suffering’ I’ve always heard about?
I’ve been told that once you had a family member go to a residential school, the family suffered forever? Genertion upon generation can’t get past the trauma that was inflicted upon one member 90+ years ago.
It’s almost like the whole thing was made up to make certain people rich or something. Like a con.
Of course, that can’t be true. The Nobal Savage and all. They never lie.
Geoff H.
I have posted this before but it bears repeating. If the trauma of attending residential schools is allowed, then survivors of the Holocaust should have been allowed to commit all sorts of mayhem instead of which they started businesses, married and had the ultimate revenge on the Nazis by having large families.
“AOS investigators said they now believe 335 children died while at the school — an increase from their prior estimates, based on more thorough examination of parish records.”
That would be ten per year in the age of minimally effective treatment of TB which was endemic among the Indian population. Sounds high but who knows. Of the skeletons found, have they done DNA and carbon 14 dating. I hope they are now burying their people deeper. The remains found are next to the cemetery. I suspect that 100 years ago graves on a reserve might not have been as tightly packed and surveyed as whitie cemeteries. There is an Indian cemetery near where I live and it looks pretty random. I knew someone who had dug some graves in an old Indian or Metis cemetery in St. Albert, Alberta and, on some occasions, he ran into already used graves.
Trudeau can’t go to a men’s hockey game, the contrast between him and a real man would be too revealing.
My thoughts as well Peter I thought maybe he was dreaming that he was a woman and could skate
Re “unmarked graves”, they’re already pushing against “denialists”. We’re not allowed to question. There’s no evidence that it was systemic/genocide/whatever but if you question, you’re “denialist”.
Same happened with covid origin (lab vs pangolin), with covid “vaccines”, with Jan 6 “insurrection”.
Still happens with everyone daring to question if Islam has anything to do with peace, or if “climate change” is man-made. You’re vilified + deemed Islamophobe/denialist.
Life taught me that if you’re not even allowed to question something, what you sensed is real. You’re on the right track.
The entire effing planet is chock full of unmarked graves. Get over it.
Algerian Islamist youtuber Nabil Absi storms into a Quebec church during Mass and performs Quranic rituals. Disgusting.

Finally, they actually found a human remains! Oh wait, that was 20 years ago. When they thought about such things rationally, unlike today.
Naturally that means genocide and a mass grave containing more than 300 bodies. Right.
Considering that the 4 excavations I’ve heard of found NO human remains, I doubt that they would bother to excavate had they not finally heard of this one child. But now they’re encouraged to dig. I suspect they’ll be disappointed in their findings. Will they find more remains? Quite likely, children died a lot more back then. All children, not just natives.
“Redcrow said while excavation of graves is difficult, survivors who heard about the plans were supportive.” Survivors??? From 100 years ago??? Wow, they must be the oldest people in the world!
“The site is near the community’s cemetery and they said accidental excavations have happened repeatedly over the years.”
So not genocide then, just a regular cemetery.
For context.
Jean Chrétien was one of 19 children, 10 of whom didn’t survive infancy
I’m not a Chrétien fan, but infancy/childhood deaths were relatively common 100 years ago.
