Must be his weekly Frat Party event.
Saving the planet from you low lifes 400 beaucrats at a time! If the government wasn’t paying them so much, y’all would be buying and burning up that much more co2’s!!!
That’s nothing, as there are no helos!
$177,000 per useless trougher. No pressure, no stress, no need for productivity. Probably take them all day to sharpen a pencil.
Fire them all along with the entire government of Canada.
The only reason it takes all day to sharpen a pencil is because one person has to hold the pencil while another person spins the sharpener around. It’s fairly difficult, you see.** Only a top team can do it without breaking the pencil lead. Then there are the coffee breaks.

**The cord gets in the way and has to be untangled quite frequently. Half the workforce will have to be let go if they ever figure out that all you have to do is plug in the sharpener.
“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”
~Upton Sinclair,
This garbage won’t end until Smith or Poillievre stand up and call AGW for the complete and utter fraud it is
Punch back twice as hard.
Totally! They both need to stop talking “Climate Change Lite” (i.e. “we agree about the Carbon reduction targets Canada needs to meet, but just think it will take more time”) and, instead, start questioning the whole premise! Voters are ready to hear a new narrative. Start leading!
Ward.
Y E S. And not limited to craziness like, Heh, we can’t do it by 2030. Maybe 2035!
We need to kill the underlying assumption now widely treated as fact: there are models but models are not science; there is NO scientific basis for the premise that man-made Co2 has any significant effect on the climate. I am unaware of ANY pol who argues this publicly. But due to the power of myth, birthed by unrelenting 24/7 all-source propaganda, I doubt we’ll ever hear it.
Max Bernier has said exactly that. Vote People’s Party of Canada.
That’s one of the reasons why I’ve voted and will vote for the PPC.
It’s disappointing that so-called “Conservatives” are too cowed by the climate cult to state the plain truth as Max and the PPC have.
Agreed.
Doing your best to get Justatwit reelected, are you?
Nope. A vote for Max is a vote for Justin….sorry, but that’s just a fact.
It takes $48 Million and 242 FTE to give tax payers money back, or roughly $200,000 for each one…
Collecting it is slightly better at a mere $152,000 for each of the 223 FTE
and it’s an estimate…
oh, and that doesn’t include the compliance costs paid for by the producers…
According to the government, they are collecting $8 billion but oddly they don’t specify how they are spending it.
Tired of the “split vote” argument from party insiders and hacks, most of us voting PPC would not vote CPC anyway, we would vote Libertarian. So there is no merit to this argument. I would need to see proof of Poilievre’s sincerity on any issues before even thinking about voting for him. Sure, he can say whatever he wants, but if he doesn’t intend to do it, then the only vote splitting is in the other direction, because at least max bernier means what he says on these issues.
Where was this CPC when it mattered? They were either helping Justin Trudeau, or looking away and hoping not to be put on the spot. Cowards. What evidence is there to suggest they have suddenly changed? They won’t change, they will be exactly the same, because that’s where the corporate money behind them wants to go. Appeasing the UN agenda at every turn. Collaborators. And their voters? Dupes. Co-enablers.
The vote split idea is basically an urban legend. We’re not coming back. We will vote for a party that actually opposes and means what it says.
So, people who call themselves conservatives will vote for someone who who called MEP Christine Anderson a racist, voted to call Canada genocidal, voted to ban “conversion therapy”, voted to designate the Proud Boys as terrorists, and stood idly by for 2 years while Canadians were stripped of their fundamental rights while the gestapo went around shutting down numerous small business by force and arresting kids for playing hockey.
Really?
How many old Conservative Party back room boys are still in play? Change starts there followed by top bureaucrats immediately after the election.
Good luck with all of that.
^^^^
Keep voting liberal then.
There is one, and only one conservative party on the ballot, and you don’t wanna vote for it.
LPC and CPC got us to where we are right now. If anybody thinks that this should continue, they are either happy about where we are now, or insane.
The CPC cheerleaders are much the same as the Jeb! or Chris Christy cheerleaders of 2016 USA, aka RINOs
The Canadian ones are CINOs.
If Max was the leader some of you imagine, he would have had the vision to realise that eventually, he would win out over O’toole or Scheer. They’re both very weak kneed.
Would Max have been the leader as promised. Hard to know, but real leaders don’t quit. He pouted and ran away, not an admirable quality in a leader. He talked the talk, but stopped at walking the walk.
When would you have seen him walk the walk? The media makes sure his exposure is limited and criticized.
He got arrested for protesting the for protesting the COVID measures, FFS!
$177,634.40 per civil servant
5,629.5 FTE civil servants per billion
A $40 Billion deficit is equivalent to 225,181.6 FTE civil servants, not counting program expenditures for unneccesary programs.
