  1. “Brown said European consumers buy plant-based meat because they’re concerned about the climate and they perceive those products as healthier. But in the U.S., he said, ads funded by the meat industry and others have led consumers to see plant-based meat as overly processed and unhealthy. Beyond Meat is running ads this fall to counter that message, he said.”

I’m sure that the euroweenies are so much SMRT than american consumers who don’t seem to want to embrace industrial plant based meat frankenfoods…

and in no way is it “meat”

  2. The damn stuff is even MORE expensive than real meat, which is quite a trick these days.

And just how much stuff has to go into those things to simulate meat flavour? I’m good. I’ll pass….

Oh, and I had a 2 hour jog today. About 15 km I think. I don’t have fancy gadgets. I just enjoy running. Good for me.

    1. “And just how much stuff has to go into those things to simulate meat flavour?”

Apparently lots and lots of salt, for one thing.

  3. Here’s the question I have. They want to stop us from traveling, give us unreliable energy, make us eat unmeat and bugs. What will they do about pro sports. They charter a plane here. Play a game. Charter there and on and on. Their carbon footprint is somewhat more substantial than the small town coffee drinkers I know. Just wondering which billionaire clique is going to win this pissing match.

    1. My guess is that the globalists needs to maintain major-league sports as a distraction from everything else that is going on.
Don’t want to hear about the impending nuclear holocaust? Turn to the sports pages to find out how the Leafs did last night.
Concerned about the “safe and effective” vaccines? Never mind that. How many goals did Patrick Kane tuck in against the Blues?
Sports, Fashion, Entertainment… It’s all theatre. All meant to distract the ignorant from the important stuff that’s about to destroy our way of living, if not our very lives.

      1. fc, Well I don’t watch sports, never have, except for sports with wheels, but not a lot of that either. So, I’m beginning to accept that as I was not kept distracted with the Bread and Circuses as mentioned above by Wayland Yutani, I was naturally more aware of the BS lies and misinformation being fed to the public on a daily basis!

  4. We had lunch at a vegetarian restaurant. The waiter explained they use beet juice to simulate blood in the veggie burger. Lol.

  5. An increase in the consumption of meat protein is what helped people to live longer and healthier. Combined with an improvements in hygiene the average persons life span expanded.

  6. Beef is plant based food.
    Full stop.
The most nutrient dense food available.
It is very good for you.
Cholesterol is bullshit. (To sell stains)
Saturated fat is bullshit. (To sell fake fats, i.e. margarine, canola)
The food pyramid is a recipe for diabetes.
Everything we are being told about a “healthy” diet from the government is bullshit courtesy of lobbyists from the fake food industry. If people would wake up and realize this we would automatically have a healthier population.
Remember the term – auto suggestion – used by Kreskin. His premise for example was that if you tell people they will get sick with X, a percentage will. Food for thought.

  7. I have discovered a valid use for those frozen “meat” burgers.
When I go camping in bear country I scatter a few of them around my campsite CAUSE EVEN THE BEARS WON’T TOUCH EM!

  8. I’ve recently noticed a advert running on tv for Becel “plant based butter.” So I’ve started using something I call “margarine” made from cow’s milk.

  9. “Beyond Meat”. There’s not such thing as that since God created the world and populated mankind. Fools.

  10. All I know is that Bill’s Man Boobs are a non endorsement for Beyond Pecs.
