      Hopefully ordinary Canadians attending upcoming November 11th ceremonies, will engage in a respectful manner, with some of the 338 MP’s that will undoubtedly be in attendance. We have already had the sacrificial resignation, the rest need to at least explain, their choice to participate.

      I do not wish to insult readers/contributors as they are of course capable of coming up with their own questions, these will be some of mine.

    2nd, the fail was on several levels: so no one in PMO’s nor any of the clerks in Parliament raised any flags? I understand PM is an idiot and Rota was deer-in-the-headlights. But really, there was no one in the chain of command knowing a bit of history or at least to bother to check creds, paperwork?!?

People are free to disagree of course, but despite his anti-Russian rhetoric, he does present an opposing view that we need to hear. We can’t discern right from wrong without hearing from ALL points of view. I am not in favor of censoring any opinion, no matter how offending that view may be to some people.
      I say, people who are proposing genocide should speak out and let them reveal themselves for who they are. Let’s give them enough rope.
      The real danger lies when we try to suppress views we do not like to hear. Driving unpopular opinions underground where they cannot be scene, well… we’ve all witnessed what happens when that happens.

      I get the “vibe” that Trudeau, Freeland & Zelenski knew full well what they were doing and relied on ignorance to slip it by the Canadian opposition and public.

      It’s worked any other time, and if caught well throw someone under the bus – again it has worked every other time.

      A good guess is that they wanted to show FULL solidarity with Zelenski, and what better way than to take such an open public risk on his visit to cement that solidarity.
