  1. Of course the Victoria police shut down the protest.
They do as their told, even as the vast majority of individual cops probably support the march.
Its not like it was a group of ex-special forces who were counter-protesting.
“If one crazy lezbeen gets through, we’re gonna have to shut it down for everyone’s safety.” said Chief Wiggum.

  2. Re: Indians want $100 billion

The Indians had over 10,000 years to develop the mineral resources of Canada.

    What did they invent?
    Wooden and stone tools.

  3. Regarding the Indians wanting $100B. Okay, give them some money, but negotiate it down. Then tell them the freebies are over. As part of the agreement their treaties, land claims and other grievances are over. You have your money and you have no further claim on any land. It’s done!

    1. “More reasons that in today’s combat situation, boots on the ground is a terrible idea…”

And yet it is *still* the only possible method of dislodging the Russian forces from their fortifications and driving them out of Ukraine. The ostriches here would continue to do the same thing they have been doing over and over again but magically expect it to suddenly start working. That’s insanity, Einstein said….but they keep trying, like The Little Engine That Could.

  4. The police should be ashamed of themselves, shutting down a peaceful protest because the violent pantifa crowd showed up? Utterly shameful how the police coddle violent leftwingers while suppressing the rights of peaceful protest.

  5. Biden’s climate cult … aka … what do you do with thousands upon thousands of fully indoctrinated “Environmental Studies” graduates … who don’t really know shit, have no skills, and yet need “good paying jobs in the ‘green justice’ business”.

Our Universities are churning out countless numbers of Socialist apparatchiks with nothing to do but destroy your freedom and liberty.

  6. They are not the Victoria police department. As they have demonstrated in the past they are the BPS. That’s the bolshevik protection service. The preformed admirably against the freedom convoy a year &a half ago. Their main purpose is to protect the dippers hence the BPS.

  7. I was at the Victoria protest. The police made absolutely no attempt to prevent the trantifa forces from entering the area set aside for the main protest and refused to do anything about the clear attempts by trantifa to disrupt the 1 Million March group. In some instances the police even stepped aside to allow the trantifa ruffians to enter the area. I observed one group of trantifa enter the area and start to be surrounded by the 1 Million March demonstrators and the police moved in to encircle the trantifa as a protective force. As this all started to unfold many people where I was standing pointed out what was about to happen and asked the police to intervene and they simply shrugged or stared stonily off in the distance. Worse yet, after the police had ended the 1 Million March gathering, the trantifa crowd stayed in the legislature grounds and had their own boisterous gathering for the rest of the afternoon. Quite a few of the 1 Million March group had actually stayed on the grounds but the police rounded them up in groups and expelled them from the grounds. So, the police supported, protected and in fact assisted the trantifa demonstrators in both demonstrations. As a final note, the people who organized the Victoria 1 Million March appeared to be totally unprepared for what unfolded, maybe they had naively relied on what the police had promised.
