Boston University hired Ibram X. Kendi to lead its new Center for Antiracist Research in 2020, a year marked by a global pandemic and nationwide racial tension.
Three years later, after at least $43 million in grants and gifts and what sources say has been an underwhelming output of research, the Center for Antiracist Research laid off almost all of its staff last week.
Multiple former staff members allege that a mismanagement of funds, high turnover rate and general disorganization have plagued the Center since its inception.[…]

2) fake data to promote how bad issue is
3) create bureaucracy to fight issue
4) collect tax dollars
5) scatter tax dollars to friends and family
6) announce (and re-announce, and re-re-announce) worthless projects and goals

8) blame your enemies for failure
9) increase size of bureaucracy and re-set goals
10) repeat until re-elected

Were they exceptions proving the rule ? I’d like to think not. But look at major US cities under decades of A-American rule: Detroit and Chicago are wastelands. South Africa was better off (for everyone, irrespective of skin colour) under Apartheid rule. And just about every African country is a socialist kleptocratic basket-case.
It’s not racist to point that out: those are facts. And facts don’t care about pearl-clutching faux anti-racist outrage when they are observed.
Maybe the learning is that bläcks can be as corrupt, greedy and incompetent as whites, and that all the affirmative action BS and race-based education are simply enormous grifts capitalizing on stupid liberals and national suicidal white guilt that should have been consigned to the ash heap of history long ago.

I disagree that the funds were mismanaged. They were very expertly managed, spirited away to who-knows-where; well, somebody does I’m certain.
The “research” no doubt being: a broad ad campaign asking for “racialized ” people to report hurt feelings with supporting fictionalized details.
