  1. Ah, thank you. So… is it turtles all the way down? (*ducks*)

Interesting read. Weird echos of Genesis: “before creation there was nothing, an empty dark space”. Plus, Noah and the Great Flood.

    1. Actually, UM, there are “flood” narratives in many cultures. These stem from the ending of the last Ice Age, where glaciers and icefields melted, resulting in seriously sea level rises.
It is generally conceded that the rise in the Mediterranean Sea was a direct result of Lake Agassiz (which covered much of the prairies) breaking through into what it now Hudson’s Bay and spilling out into the Atlantic and hence – through the Straits of Gibraltar – into the Mediterranean. The rise in sea level would not have been so dramatic as related in the “Noah” legend, but it would have been steady and relentless, forcing coastline inhabitants to abandon their homesteads and retreat ever more inland to less hospitable environments.
The late Pauline Johnson – in one of her books – told the tale of how a young indigenous couple – with some children – outrode the incoming waters in a canoe and so kept the tribe from extinction. Again, the legend would have seriously shortened the timeline when the ocean was rising, but communities all along the west coast of North America (and probably South America) would have been forced to seek higher, less hospitable areas in which to relocate their communities.

    1. Never have never will use one. Use one to strangle anyone who says you have to wear one. That will slow them down.

  2. Why don’t dementia Joe and his cabinet use indigenous wisdom to travel?

    They’d have to walk everywhere.

      1. Dementia Joe should still follow indigenous knowledge and go for a walk in dense woods. Alone. At night.

  3. Just got home from my second cataract surgery. Very thankful the eye doctor didn’t mix any indigenous wisdom into his procedure.

  4. “Diversity in Sweden”

Muslims worship the actual book far more than Christians do. They believe the Quran is literally the dictated word of God, full stopped. Sane Christians know that the Bible represents the writings of men who were inspired by God. Subtle difference, but it’s enough that it helps explain why they go so apeshit when you burn their book compared with almost all Christians. For Christians the Word isn’t the pages in a paper book — just get a new copy if someone burns yours (it always finds a way). The Word is eternal and doesn’t need to be protected from harm like whatever it is the Muslims are doing.

  5. I can’t wait until our appreciation of indigenous knowledge includes the Aztec’s version.

  6. In a randomized trial, researchers place participants in different groups and observe the results in a controlled environment.

By contrast, population-based studies measure outcomes in a “real-world” setting.

Where do we want masks to work? In a real world setting. If masks do not work in real world setting, they do not work. We tested a real world setting. They do not work.

Also, the key to propaganda isn’t what you say, it is what you do not say. So, only a few (how few?) randomized studies have been done. Well, what was the outcome of those studies? Carefully not mentioned (as usual).

Also, many studies today are fraudulent. Example, a front page newspaper story about how masks are not harmful. The accusation was that masks increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the bloodstream. The “study” compared people in several different kinds of masks or faceshields. No comparison was made including people without any kind of mask, Also, they measured the amount of oxygen in the blood. At no time did they even mention carbon dioxide. That is an example of a “scientific study” today. If it appears today in the mainstream news, it is propaganda, not science.

  7. About The COVID Ghouls are Back. COVID, what COVID? That is Omicron, and later variants. The virus has mutated, as all viruses do, into a much milder form. Did you know that there ae 200 different kinds of common cold? Did you know that 4 of them (now 5) are coronaviruses? Of course not, the key to propaganda is not what you say, it is what you do not say. No one will tell you that, so get off your butt and find out for yourself. Or not, people get the kind of government they deserve. And they get it good and hard.

And I mean HARD https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-022-15409-x The danger of Omicron, so mild it is nothing more than the common cold, is not the virus, it is pneumonia and other secondary infections. These breed in masks.

Find out that COVID is OVER. Yes, including the new variants, which, like the common cold, are more infectious because they are MILDER and LESS DANGEROUS so your body doesn’t fight it as much. That is why they are more infectious.

And I noticed this phrase there Although the effectiveness of face masks against viral transmission has been extensively studied, there have been few reports on potential hygiene issues due to bacteria and fungi attached to the face masks. Lets look at that. Extensively studied? What was the outcome of those studies, the methodology? Not mentioned. And why were there few studies in bacteria etc? In both cases, it is because they don’t want you to know, otherwise, they would have told you. They would be embarrassed, to put it mildly, if it were discovered that the masks they mandated were far more harmful than good (hint, no studies show that they were good at all). Masks KILL. More deaths, and “the experts” say, “see, we were right, it’s dangerous out there, wear your mask and feel safe”.

A story, a true story. In Arabia, the Arabs wear amulets to keep them safe from snakebite. In WWI, Lawrence of Arabia sent out a dozen men to an area with more kinds of poisonous snakes than anywhere else in the world. Half died, despite their amulets. Do they stop carrying them/? No, they cling to them harder than ever. Just like masks, which kill, so you cling to them harder than ever. The more die, the harder you cling.
