  1. Yes and Trump is going to win in a landslide. One of Stalin’s aphorisms was “It’s not who votes but who counts the vote”. We are way past Chicago style politics of vote early and vote often.
    The winners have already been chosen in my opinion.

    1. The first thing that will happen is the prospect of a CPC win will cause tons of NDP to vote Liberal. ( And likely greens) You should be able to understand that for that portion of the population there is no greater evil than even a so called conservative. ( or as a far right demigod as they are precieved)

      1. The last election proved that out. Green support vanished if Conservatives had a chance particularly on Vancouver Island where it’s historically either Conservative or NDP and one Green. Liberals don’t poll well here.

  4. Even if Canadian elections are actually free and fair (I am now at the point where I’d require concrete proof beyond any doubt), how effective could the Conservative government be, against the Liberal Party’s courts and judges?

  7. Gotta warn ya… 2025 is a long way off, unless by some divine intervention, the NDP pulls it’s support, but…

    And even if we can wait until 2025 (we can’t), there’s no guarantee that there will be an election!
    Just as I’m beginning to wonder if there will be a U.S. General in 2024.

    Yes, the commies know we’re on to them, but they won’t care. They have enough resources in place to seize total control without an election. They’ve proven that they can steal elections rather than win them, but what if the people’s voice is so strong, you can’t rig an election without it being too obvious? In that case, the powers that be will simply declare an “emergency,” (like perhaps, the climate emergency, or another pandemic) and just like what they did with the Covid scare, they will suspend our rights… but this time, they will do it PERMANENTLY!!! You WILL own nothing, and by gosh, you WILL be happy… OR ELSE!

    So yeah… these poll numbers look pretty good, but a lot can happen between now and 2025, which is still a little less than 2 years away.

    Stay vigilant, my friends. Take nothing for granted, and for heaven’s sake, don’t underestimate the enemie’s resolve to retain power, no matter what.

    2. fc, re PERMANENTLY, There are recent rumours that if they can escalate the “Ukraine troubles” they can suspend elections over the war measures act. I wouldn’t put it past Biden or the turd, or any European government to use it, then they can initiate the OR ELSE part. Best be prepared!

        I don’t believe that would ever fly, since the war is in Europe and nowhere near Canada or the US.

  11. The tribalism of the young people will not allow them to switch allegiances from the Progressive, Caring, Intelligent Elitist left.
    The Media Party will swing them back.
    No matter how much their life sucks, they will keep voting for more of the same. (See California)

    1. Good points. The higher the Conservatives go in the polls, the more extreme the attacks will be from mainstream media. An if, by some miracle, the Conservatives do manage to win, the unrelenting attack from all sides will be intense and unending until they are turfed from office. The collapse of western civilization must not be stopped by the will of the people.

      Millennials are deserting Grits in droves.
      Yet NDP support has failed to grow.
      Why?
      Probably some have gone to the NDP.
      But that’s dwarfed by LPC voters going CPC.

      In BC it’s common for voters to switch between Liberal, Conservative and NDP.

      There the Conservatives are taking Liberal and NDP votes with the Grits electorally DOA.

      The LPC has lost its base. Even their Atlantic Canada stronghold is threatened.

      But Poilievre still must present a limited government agenda to curtail the administrative state and its excesses.

      Plus count on a more shrill and divisive PM.
      Possibly indictments like DeMarxist mentors.
      Collectivists shall not go quietly into the night.
      Then they’d have to get real jobs.
      How long will Dippers stay on this sinking ship of statism? Do they not sense opportunity?
