  1. I mentioned yesterday in a comment on the ULEZ cameras that emissions testing on vehicles has been active in US jurisdictions for over 30 years. So I had no issue with the supposed purpose. What I took issue with was the process in which London was checking these emissions. I thought that it smelled like there were ulterior motives involved.

Well, I took a few minutes and confirmed my instincts. The camera footage is being provided to the Metro Police department precincts from all cameras without restrictions. In fact, footage on vehicles that pass the emissions are not immediately destroyed. Instead, they are held for 21 days, and likely recorded. Other footage on vehicles not passing the test are held for at least 3 months. At the same time, the Metro Police acquire footage surveillance of the entire city without warrant or even debate from the constituents. I’d argue that the emissions purpose is, in fact, secondary to carte blanche surveillance opportunities of an entire metro area.

I was never a fan of willful vandalism despite the the political overstep. But, if the local government isn’t even willing to acquire the input of the constituents while expanding a program the majority clearly doesn’t want. Well, I suppose in that situation, all bets are off.

  2. ULEZ ??

Is that something your effeminate sounding 2nd grader becomes, once they feed him puberty blockers? Yeah, I’d say mischief is important … so too is Revolution.

Anyone with an ounce of self awareness wouldn’t use the acronym “ULEZ” … for obvious reasons

  3. Not a fan of vandalism ,but I think in this case physical camera are fair game. Khanis the real vandal. He is destroying people’s lives in the London region under the cloak of left wing trendy policies.

    1. The surveillance is much worse than vandalism.

UK has a muslim prime minister and London has a muslim mayor. It appears to be lost, as in surrendered to the enemy.

Are any of those blue tent cities under surveillance?

    2. Not a fan of vandalism…

I guess there are a couple ways to look at this. As the politicians no longer listen to anything but the sound of their own voices, what choice do citizens have? If Gang Green can glue themselves to streets & highways in support of their favorite cause du jour, then this is fair game.

It should also be a warning to politicians of things to come if they don’t fix their cranio-rectal inversion. We’ve had enough. TJ’s quote about the tree of liberty comes to mind. At the rate things are going, it’s headed their way. We are long past due.

    3. Vandalism is marring the streets with a surveillance camera. This was a good citizen helping to clean up.

  4. Cuckservatives be like “rule me harder (((gay))) daddy!!!”

Not fans of resistance because tyrants are always oppressive?

Super secret tip: when under fire you’re allowed to shoot back.

  5. Such a efficient operation is in no way connected to the government.. That’s the rub :).. It costs 10 000 dollars to put it up and 50 cents to bring it down.. You would think? the people in power… Awww never mind..

    1. I saw a comment that stated it takes them a day to put one up, and we can take out 10 in an hour. Now they are amouring them.

  6. Britain has over 5 MILLION surveillance cameras. If they lose a few hundred it won’t make much of a difference.

It’s about the only way to fight back against totalitarianism, not everyone can foment a revolution.

Btw.Marc, there was no price on that can of rustoleum spray paint. I’d estimate about $15?

    1. From my location its showing $14.36 +5% federal tax + some bit of provincial environmental levy at Calgary North Hill, I did see some there in the past week and they’re showing 7 in stock. They also have the “tall cans” which may be + 26 ounces? glossy black or white only and about $20.

*Not a fan of how the prices of various paints has gone up by more than 33% in the past year.
Perhaps the algorithms don’t allow the prices to be shown if you’re not in the immediate local area, in any case and just to be sure, I’ll blame the #Libranos

  7. Did not a guy write about this stuff in 1948?

One would think that he did not see himself as a prophet. How is it that what he wrote is coming to pass one little bit by one little bit by an avalanche?

Today, the “social science’ learned class are prophesizing daily and virtually nothing of what they say is not only not happening, in fact all things are happening in opposition to it.
Nonetheless the media cartel and the political confab insist that your lying ears, your lying eyes are deceiving you.
Yeah, they know shit, though it could be debatable that they now even that much and insist that it is you that is ignorant.

    What can one say.
